Brilliant shots Alan! Did Mary have her Bantam with her.....because she was having it done up I think? And how didn't you have a photo with Sam Manicom.......he's always in everybody's pics! And usually surrounded by women! -
It was late 1973 and this bird I was going out with said her mother was going to be away for the night and did I want to stay? Well it would have been rude not to. Anyway.....about 8 am the following morning I woke up and heard the front door go. She looked outside and said her mother had got back! The bird said to grab my clothes and get in the cupboard, then make a break through the front door when the coast was clear!! So in I went.......bollocks naked holding all my clothes. Her mother came in the bedroom to take a look and I'm in the wardrobe trying not to breathe in case I gave myself away. Then her and her mother went downstairs towards the dining room and kitchen at the back of the house. In a blind panic I ran for the front door and straight out onto the pavement.......completely forgetting that I was carrying my clothes not wearing them! So there was I.....on the street bollocks naked in front of a bus stop full of people who were waiting for the bus to go to work. Even worse was that it was a rather cold morning.......so I wasn't physically at my best!

@boboneleg......great bit of film!
-
Yeh.......nothing is certain any more! We've been going through this Covid shit for nearly 2 years now, and I don't see any end in sight at the moment!
-
Amazing pics Bob.......when do you plan to go back?
-
And time's running out for us Bob! I'd have to do Gold Beach and Muhlberg.......6000km round trip. The wife would like to do Gold Beach as well because her father was on the landings as well. No idea what regiment.....all we know is he drove a tank and eventually ended up at Belsen. But like all that generation he never spoke about it.
-
Absolutely Bob. He was with The Royal Gloucestershire Regiment and captured by the Germans because he was recon for the advancing Allied forces. He was then a POW in this camp until he was liberated......this is another place I have to visit:
-
Same here cos my father was on the D-Day landings.....Gloster Regiment!
-
Wow.......what a story Yen!
-
It really is a brilliant effort Chris......I wish I could get the free time to do something like that. Not sure about your GPS though.......I know that's the way we always did it, but I wouldn't like to go back to that now.
-
What an amateur! If he was a Jack he'd have got away with the wood, the LandRover and the security guard's wallet!
-
Don't walk into the sea......you'll return as a pig farmer!
-
I worked 12 hours yesterday and 6 hours today! No wonder not many OAP's live to a ripe old age!
-
Superb Tony......is your mate doing a Reggie Perrin?
-
If you don't have a torch and it's dark in there, throw some stones in there first to see if there's any movement. Doesn't bother me one bit.......cos I'm a thrillseeker! The more risk, the more I like it! And at my age......what have I got to lose? Not even the phrase "Life in Prison" holds any fears for me now. But I gotta say that I think this is the best Ride Report we've had on here since we started. The background information you provided is quite amazing! Brilliant trip and report......and this looks like the type of place I'd like to visit! If I can ever escape from this town!

That's very true Dave! But fortunately this is a motorcycle forum not a kitchen cabinet forum. So your observations are not relevant in this case!
-
I did check it out Bob.....looked a bit small for me! Probably the property of one of those 3ft Sodomites!
-
Cheers Bob......had to work 12 hours yesterday to free up the time! Now I'm back to work again all day. This Pensioner gig isn't what I expected!

Nothing says more about a Motorcyclist than a Ride Report!
