No......it was the Rotax engine OWNED by BMW for mine. All Loncin did was assemble the Rotax parts......nothing else! Same as Kymco and Aprilia did before that. Now they've sold it into Loncin those specs could change obviously.

I was just reading that when BMW discontinued the 650GS model in 2016 they sold the rights to it to Loncin. They were previously assembling the 650 engines for BMW, and now assemble the engines for the 750 & 850 series. Seems like they've now modified the 650 engine to make it Euro 5 compliant.
