  3. Great work Tym, whos the dude in the frame in the window of the store, local big wig ?
  4. Mine got trapped under my sunglasses on the bridge of my nose, my eyes have swelled up today.
  5. This is not un-PC but it's funny as feck. I grew up watching the Addams Family, this is a great mash up............
  6. Absolutely, I still enjoyed it as anyday out on a bike is good but I've definitely had better days as far as MY riding is concerend.
  7. Not a ride report as it didn't really go well yesterday. I got stung on the bridge of my nose after 10 minutes by an errant wasp and then just couldn't get into the swing of things. Nearly missed a couple of corners by entering too fast and then nearly got rammed by an angry Transit van driver after a twat in a caravan demolised part of the wall outside his house (the van driver cam after him and I was inbetween them ). This morning my eye has swelled up like I've been punched but on the upside I've been excused shopping, Ersilia has gone to do that. Anyway, I took a couple of photos..................
  8. That's looks a cracking ride Pedro, love those little roads on top of the hills
  9. Serves you right for bringing YOUR rain to England
  10. That's good to know, at least we can count you out as being a vampire
  11. Ok, i'll explain it as best I can. I wear a silicone sleeve that fits tight over my stump, on the end is a pin which fits into a lock in the leg. The pin is chamfered all the way down so that it can only go one way until the lock is released. This is a photo I knicked from the web , my sleeve is grey but apart from that it's much the same. It's a good system for me , the only downside is when it's hot my leg sweats and this can cause the sleeve to slip hence a few mishaps where it has fallen off
  12. we've got one in work Fred and my boss loves making one-off parts for the race bikes. They are such a great item to have.
  13. And now for the alternative version................
  14. You got access to a lathe then Fred ?
  15. Heatwave over, normal (rain ) service resumed
  16. Chucking it down here, my wife complained that the grocery shopping was all wet, it didn't matter that I was soaked ?
  17. @Clive, a mate of mine is selling a CB500. He's a retired engineer so the bike will be good and it's cheap money. https://adventurebikerider.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=50296
