My (occasional) riding buddy is a Vegan, his surname is Egan , but he does not push his Vegan agenda on other people, I remember on a Germany trip he was eating something that looked like the green snot Thing is though, he is painfully thin, always has a cold, and has joint pain, hands are the worst, so much for the healthy Vegan lifestyle.

My German (a Pastor) pal tries to get me into a discussion about religion.......he has failed miserably so far.

Our Christmas tree is a 3ft optic, fits on the widow ledge, no room for a tree on the floor in here. Tree and lights back in their box's, bet the bastards won't light up next Christmas.

No river near me, i lie, there is one 2 mile away, 10ft wide, 2 feet deep, not quite on the scale of yours I do have a (occasional) riding buddy, but most of his trips are too far for me, he will go to North or South Wales, or to the Lake District, stop somewhere overnight then return late the following day, so I just ride around the locality.

Like @XTreme I have limitations at home, i have other limitations too, my days of a weekend away on the continent are far behind me, a hours ride around the local highways are the most I can look forward to nowdays. Keep toying with the idea of getting rid of the scoot, if the costs (significantly) rise for insurance and VED than it does now i will.

I will have some trips to Asda this year, doubt I will be going much further.

It will be like any other night, will try and find a film we have not seen before to watch, and be in bed for 1am. I have 4 cans of Skol lager to drink and welcome in the New Year...................... even I can't get pissed on that stuff.

I had a C15 which was stripped of most of its bodywork, ragged it around a field near where I lived, I spent more time on the deck as the tyres were not exactly designed for off road use...

Yep....seen people I know shuffle off, some at a early age too. Life in general is good, would like to get out and about more and see things before my time comes.

Oh yes please!... I was single, had a damn good wage packet coming in each week, a brand new bike was only a year away......Good Times!
