The service intervals on the Chinky that i had were, according to the handbook, every 3000 miles, never bothered me because it only covered 4000 miles during my ownership of 5 years. But the guy at the dealer told me, put good synthetic oil in it and it would be good for 6000 miles..

Iam still doing the penguin impression, and forecast does not look too brilliant anyway, so I guess my ass will be stuck to this chair.....so doing much else is very unlikely.

After my wife's phone call to the doctors, when the receptionist said "The doctor will ring you back" but he didn't , she decided to give them both barrels this morning, told the receptionist what transpired on the previous phone call, to be told "Doctor issued a prescription on the 8th of April, it is in the pharmacy awaiting you collecting it".... wife said what about a phone call telling us this?.....seems we have to be able to read minds now too. Oh and the housing association are coming to install loft and cavity wall insulation....November 15th

Yeh I know, the wind howls in through it when the wind is blowing from the wrong direction... But nothing to do with me, fitted in that position by the builders I think.

I have to admit that when my wife rings them about the mould they turn up quickly, it just seems this foul smelling solution is just a temporary fix, no doubt we will have less of a problem with mould during the summer, that's if summer arrives this year They told us to keep the heating on, but that's not affordable

We have, they came about 2 months ago, they came, slopped on some foul smelling solution on all the visible mould around the windows and on the ceilings in all the rooms, and 2 months later it is back!. I am concentrating on the bedroom mould at the moment because wife wakes each morning with a bit of a sore throat.

Looks a bit better, but for how long.

That's just one corner!. got to empty and move a wardrobe to get to the other patch of mould, it's doing my bad back no good at all.

I bought some wood preservation paint last year, after 1st coat it was Pink! luckily when it dried and soaked into the wood it turned brown. On a separate note, my double gates are not seized up through lack of use..opened quite easily

She took her there a couple of weeks ago, just the usual advice "Give her some Paracetamol or Calpol, and go to your doctor".....A&E not equipped to make a diagnosis.

It ain't worth it!.
