After my wife's phone call to the doctors, when the receptionist said "The doctor will ring you back" but he didn't , she decided to give them both barrels this morning, told the receptionist what transpired on the previous phone call, to be told "Doctor issued a prescription on the 8th of April, it is in the pharmacy awaiting you collecting it".... wife said what about a phone call telling us this?.....seems we have to be able to read minds now too.
Oh and the housing association are coming to install loft and cavity wall insulation....November 15th

Odd place for a vent.
Yeh I know, the wind howls in through it when the wind is blowing from the wrong direction...
But nothing to do with me, fitted in that position by the builders I think.

I meant can't you take it further like going to citizens advice or something, it's not right that they come along every now and then to "sort it out"
I have to admit that when my wife rings them about the mould they turn up quickly, it just seems this foul smelling solution is just a temporary fix, no doubt we will have less of a problem with mould during the summer, that's if summer arrives this year
They told us to keep the heating on, but that's not affordable

How can they expect you guys to live with all that, can't you take them to task with it all
We have, they came about 2 months ago, they came, slopped on some foul smelling solution on all the visible mould around the windows and on the ceilings in all the rooms, and 2 months later it is back!.
I am concentrating on the bedroom mould at the moment because wife wakes each morning with a bit of a sore throat.

I bought some wood preservation paint last year, after 1st coat it was Pink! luckily when it dried and soaked into the wood it turned brown.
On a separate note, my double gates are not seized up through lack of use..opened quite easily

Not equipped to make a diagnosis?
That's what they said to my daughter, they said she would have to be referred to pediatrics by her doctor, which she has been now.

I think that they're both part of the same trust anyway. Fingers crossed that she gets seen sooner.
Yeh..... QMC....King Mill.....Bassetlaw (Worksop) and Newark hospital ........QMC is a pain to get to from here though...

Would taking her up to a&e be better?
Might be possible to get the answers to any questions sooner doing that
She took her there a couple of weeks ago, just the usual advice "Give her some Paracetamol or Calpol, and go to your doctor".....A&E not equipped to make a diagnosis.

No, I agree Clive, September is way too long to wait. Unfortunately getting seen for some things is a bit of a postcode lottery. Would they be under Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham?
No, it is our local hospital...King's Mill hospital.......if anything serious is found there then usually QMC takes over treatment..

Has your daughter tried changing your granddaughters diet slightly? Maybe she has a lactose or gluten intolerance? My eldest son has Crohn's and he has to steer away from anything with high fibre. Obviously your daughter wants to get to the bottom of it, but trying to alter your granddaughters diet slightly may help. Also, could it be anxiety? Is your granddaughter stressed about anything? School, bullying, etc?
Since granddaughter started this my daughter has done (in my opinion) a good job of altering the kids diet, much, much less of the crap food, and less of fried stuff too, granddaughter does not drink milk or tea, she just drinks diluted drinks.
Anxiety..possibly, she is not (as far as we can tell) bullied at school, but she is, how to put it, highly strung, makes a drama out of a crisis.....a very clingy kid too, with my daughter.
Daughter just wants some answers, is it medical, or mental problem, it is doing our daughter no good being disturbed every night, then having to work a 8 or 10 hour shift after being up during the night for a hour or 2.
Still think September is too long to wait.
