WTF? Is that normal for that area?
I think so, Sauls posted these type of pics before. I seem to remember him saying they’re used to it.

Giving the bike a check over for my upcoming trip in a couple of weeks time. Thought I’d do it now rather than last minute.……..oh and painting the outside of the garden walls to smarten them up and get some good-husband points in the bag.
Tell me about these “good-husband points” ??
How do these work and who benefits?

Am watching Lawrence of Arabia
Found some Turkish delight in the chocolate stash. Don’t like the stuff but it seems appropriate

My Pops has never test ridden a single bike before buying.
I don’t get that at all.
You want my money then I want to test the goods first.
If I hadn’t had that philosophy my first bike would have been a Bonneville T100
The most boringly expensive cardigan and pipe its possible to buy on a fresh licence.

@boboneleg this is the sort of stuff that I read and smile a lot. Just lovely, really lovely.

I have an ancient BMW waistcoat (is that a gilet?) that I bought years ago when working on a ship in refit up at Birkenhead and was riding home every weekend through the winter. It was brilliant and I might have to dig it out and start using it again. A good while ago as I’ve been retired ten years come April. Time flees.
It is a gilet. If it still fits, congrats!

yes it didn't t really go in to the misery they caused normal working people and businesses , i googled Sammy the bull to see if he was still alive and was surprised , he must of been on one good witness protection scheme.
Or he had the backing of everyone to shut up the show off who was bringing them so much unwanted attention.

At the time one of em tells all the story.... Gotti must of been fuming , you'll see in the last episode
Finished it. I’m amazed to read that that one you’re referring to is still alive. You would have thought there would have been some repercussions of an unpleasant nature.
I did really enjoy it, it’s def worth a watch but it does lean very heavily into the the whole Godfather mobster glam side of it and totally gloss over the real cost of pain and misery they cause, the threats of violence and the extortion that wreck a lot of peoples lives and businesses.
It was a lot of snappy 30 second sound bites pasted together but even so very entertainingly done. Feckin loved the lock picker in the cardboard box idea.

Back from the Mall. Remembered about 30mins after brekky finished that I really really hate shopping, even if it is with my son
Good to see some stuff in the flesh though because it’s so hard to gauge the quality of some things from online pics or reviews.

Back from Granada!
Underground car park at the Nevada Mall......
In the Mall.......I didn't walk too far cos of my Hernia!
We went to Lefties and Primark and then onto the Pet Store......
Then across the car park was Carrefour......
Burger King was right next to us.....so in we went!
I had a Double Whopper and chips, then I eat the half of the Whopper and chips that the wife couldn't eat! And I was still ready for another one!
Couple of doors down was Media Markt......
I was hoping to check out Go Pros.....but none on display.
Then it was head for home.......about an hour and three quarters each way.
The Guardia Civil had blocked the slip road of the Cullar junction which is our exit.
They were checking all the people in the cars......so something's gone down somewhere!
I just pulled up to him and said...."It's OK......we're Guiris not Terrorists".....he just burst out laughing and waved us past. Didn't want to check anything.
Home at 4.15......got a shitload of clothes so I can now maintain my image as "That 70's Guy!"
That’s the underground car park where the Ikea pick up point is hidden, there are many ranting reviews by morons who can’t find it swearing it doesn’t exist and Ikea are wasting everyones time
That Burger King does gluten free burgers, because I haven’t been able to have a burger from a fast food place for many decades it made me feel about 10yrs old when I went there

Watched Get Gotti on Netflix last night , documentary 3 parts , worth a watch.
Finished part one. Very good. Love that they have the people directly involved talking candidly. I suppose so much time has passed they feel like it’s fine to tell the story.
