Dont give a stuff about other people, it was all for me. Happy now though, son rang from supermarket (they made made it out cos they’d used all the bloody hot water ?) so I requested a £15 bottle of Chablis. Back on top of the world ?

Yer but he would be welcome wouldnt he. He has been missed. And its always nice when people get on again.

TLDR Thought I was going out but I’m not. Today was to be an exciting day for me. I was planning on going to the supermarket just because I can and to a shop to pick up a click n collect order, then to a friends house to drop off Easter eggs. It would have been my first day out (other than on the bike) in over a year. I kid you not, Ive avoided all supermarkets and contact with the outside world for a year due to having too many vulnerable/at risk people around me but now theyre jabbed and I’m free ? So I get my jobs done and go down the yard to train (a bit of rowing and yoga) then lay out a dress and new boots (that have stayed in their box since I bought them over a year ago), just normal stuff that Ive not worn or done for so long it no longer feels normal. I get overwhelmingly excited at the prospect and even have a glass of wine at lunch time. Whoop whoop. I turn on the shower to discover theres no hot water. NO BLOODY BASTARD HOT WATER. FFS. AARGH!! Heyho better have a glass of wine ? purely medicinal you understand to help with putting the new boots back in their box back and everything back in the wardrobe ??

Best Waterproof Motorcycle Boots
Slowlycatchymonkey replied to Peon Maface's topic in MOTORCYCLE CHAT
No Daytona on the list. The highest quality most reliably waterproof boot available. I’ve walked through water in them more than once, not a drop of water got through. Yes I could have walked over water but my Jesus mode was playing up. -
You’ve gone soft in your old age? Jesus this is a softer version?!?

Aw dang such a shame I missed that ? I was waiting for the riffraff to tire and bugger off before seeing what the remaining dregs were like. Turned out they were my kind of dregs ?

I wanna know if the nails match on the other foot? That water pics got to be in BOTM for April!

I’m offended by you worthless time wasting tosspots on a daily basis.
-
Can’t decide need more time. Or shall I just close my eyes and point at one? ?
-
Ah well yes agreed, going slowly is fatal and on both of those occasions I was going very slowly but there was no choice there was a lot of traffic and you had to crawl forward with the occasional blat if you could push open a space. I know it’s hard to imagine a very long off road traffic jam but that’s kinda what it was ?

Having been trapped under a heavy bike twice Id say theyre harder to get away from ? Dunno if youre more likely to end up under a heavier bike but it feels like you are?!

The sand on those loaded up bikes ? Bet the others were pretty pleased with themselves taking the paved road ?

All I could think was ooh what’s a gippo camp, is it some type of wildlife reserve for rescued hippos? ?

? My admiration of Frank Spencer was already a bit of a give away... then again I’m not the one who bought the box set... -
Dunno about that. Pharmaceutical companies are possibly the worse criminals out there. I find it hard to believe a word they say. A lot of people aren’t aware that they have licensed and pushed drugs for decades they know dont work and in the worse case scenarios cause great harm. They regularly create deliberate shortages to increase their profits including on drugs where shortages have led to peoples deaths. Then theres the astounding fact they can do as many studies and trials as they like and only have to publish the ones that show a new drug in a promising light. So if for example 10 trials were run on a new drug and 9 showed the drug didnt work or had terrible side effects they dont have to reveal that data when they apply for a licence. Its hard to believe they do this but they want the return on the money they’ve spent on development and research. If it all sounds like a bit conspiracy theory madness then have a look at America’s prescribed opiate addiction problem (big pharma targeting and lying to Dr’s) or Rofecoxib, Humira, Enbrel. Thousand and thousands of deaths. With the Rofecoxib the researcher who blew the whistle was told she will never work again in that arena.. and she hasn’t, instantly unemployable. So basically I’m fractionally more trusting of the vaccine study results of Oxford University than I am of the other big pharma companies who are allegedly behind pushing the idea that Oxford Astrazenica isn’t safe even though they’ve had more yellow cards (reports of adverse reactions) than Astrazenica. Age old problem of profit before people. I’ll wait to see the final outcome before putting my money on any one of them.

Nope just classics and “modern classics” Seems they dropped saying out right other bikes aren’t welcome which is a good thing me thinks, snobbery in biking is too much for me! -
Makes sense though doesnt it.

Anyway back to the thread topic. The DGR used to state on their entry its for classic looking bikes only. As in you couldn’t even enter if you were on a modern sports bike! Have they dropped that now? -

Yer when I decided Spain was the place I wanted to be it was after staying in Granada and seeing that nobody gives a sh*t what material possessions you do or dont have. Much more relaxed. Seemed not too caught up on shallow crap.
