I’m not doing the organising of this trip someone else (whose a competent person) is doing it so I dont know where we’re going. Nürburgring, black forest, Mosel, Luxembourg and Belgium have all been mentioned though ? He chooses Eiffel because its quiet. Everyone who has been before mentions the tarmac is like silk. That they take road maintenance seriously and will resurface a whole road rather than let it fall into disrepair and patch it up like they do here. Im really looking forward to the Autobahn ? I heard theyre starting to push for a speed limit to reduce CO2 emissions but its very unpopular. Aah cone free roads, I thought they only existed in my dreams!

Not least of all because this lockdown business and the lack of freedom has been so incredibly boring. I understand the roads in Germany are gloriously smooth and well cared for, its supposed a great place for biking? Ill be staying in Eiffel and going to different places each day ? I understand mostly the speed limits are similar to the UK?

Two people died, 18 were seriously injured and 43 suffered minor injuries.” I think normal people can do it. I’m not normal when it comes to speed. Its one of the reasons I had to wait to get a motorbike, when I get up to a certain speed, say roughly over 100mph a small demon takes over, any sense goes out of the window and the adrenaline leads my demented brain to think I’m invincible.... splat ?

So long as we are free to travel in September I’ll be going to Nürburgring then ? I wont be going racing my bike round the track though, I used to have a little speed problem and know I couldn’t trust myself in that environment not to add to their annual death toll! ?

I had a winged car but I can’t remember it very well. It wouldnt have flown though, it was heavy and little plastic wings would pop out when you pressed a button. Going to have to look for a pic now!

Hmm well here you go in list form IT IS- Insulting in a humorous way, has a lot of ride reports from people who actually get off the sofa and go and do things (big plus from my point of view because I find a lot of people very, very boring), its friendly and welcoming so long as you get the type of humour, blunt and lacking in bullshit, even the jibberjabber is light and entertaining, theres more of a club feel to it a bit like when your in a team and even if your not fond of one of the members theres a “he’s a dickhead but he’s our dickhead” attitude which is nice and inclusive, the majority aren’t mouthbreathers so theres no need to painfully explain posts when someone gets the wrong end of the stick, the trolling is missing cos its not tolerated by the existing members, its comfortable, Ive only been here a month and it feels like a lot longer (in a good way) and unfortunately its a bit addictive so Ill have to have a tech break soon ? IT ISN’T- Noisily judgmental, full of people getting annoyed or angry about bugger all, full of little cliques or grovellers, frequented by egomaniacs looking to make themselves feel good by putting someone else down, doesnt feel like I’m in the school playground having a bad break. Used to have a quite a few but then my little brother had his pyromaniac phase and as the A team were always blowing up vehicles I was left with none ? Being an excellent example of a little brother it was never his cars that got ‘blown up’ and being an excellent older sister I had to hurt him when I found my favourite Batman matchbox car with a melted interior ? They were excellent for launching off those tracks with a loop de loop in the middle but the wheels were not as robust as the rest of the car, wherever theres matchbox cars theres a pile with the wheels missing.
