He’s found they pack down quite small if you get the right suitcase.

I cant see any downsides. Go for it.

Nice work, I knew you could do it The UK govt dont seem bothered though they’ve already confirmed no quarantine for the doubled jabbed returning from amber countries without having any transmission stats…. they are so wise and brave….

That is theft isnt it. Short sighted greed that will cost people more in the long run. This is one area where I wouldnt mind some govt intervention before more peoples jobs go down the shitter because they cant compete.

Jesus how is that justified?!

Shit really, even with the illustrious Buckster in your path? Youre sicker than I thought.

FFS can you two just get a room? I can see you from here, I just cant make out which one of you is pulling the other ones pigtails.

I’m not much for quoting other people but I always think of this Charles Bukowski one when I hear the dim but loud being given air time- “The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts, while the stupid ones are full of confidence.”

Bijeezus that had me wincing and ducking! I saw the water and thought well thats that then. The lunatic is undeterred and crosses next to the drop. As he set off on that part (and I held my breath) I was thinking begin by riding upstream slightly or start crossing a bit higher up if you can but no the nutter goes for it. Kudos… and a tiny bit of concern for his welfare.

@Motobiker I was blown away by just how pretty and imposing the west coast of Scotland is. Most of the roads are fast and scenery round Loch Lomond and Glencoe are just superb. I started up the West coast and thought well thats amazing, that must be the bit everyone bangs on about but it just went on and on and on. Its not like England where the good bit is just “a bit” - there you go that was your pretty part now its home time, its so much larger the good bits linger on (providing you dont rush it). You start off soaking up the scenery in that familiar fashion but its like an invisible meter in your soul slowly gets filled until you cant take any more beauty and happiness bursts out of your chest. It is that pretty. Not Eiffel pretty, different but pretty. Sunshine is an essential component though because in inclement weather it will be dire. I wouldnt hesitate to go back (June, September or a warm spring when the schools have gone back), didnt get bitten once, even camping by the river at the base of Ben Nevis but we were aided by a lot of very heavy rainfall before crossing the border and thats always good for keeping critter numbers down. I felt a bit silly that I’ve lived in this country all my life and dismissed such a beautiful destination in my own backyard but I suppose we’re all bombarded with messages about rough weather and being eaten alive in that moany way the British do so well. When I do it again (and thats a given) it will be dictated by the weather and avoiding the school holidays. If I booked a couple of weeks off and the forecast was rubbish I wouldnt go, Id delay leaving because it simply wouldnt be enjoyable. In-spite of predictions the roads in June were not busy and booking the next days accommodations the evening before was no problem. If your looking for a September trip its worth consideration. So what are these midge alert websites? Wouldnt mind knowing about those. -
Had a read up, there seems to be quite some progression ride wise between the hypermotard iterations. If Six is buying the one I spied it looks like a corker and the write up makes it sound like a right royal blast. Looking forward to hearing about what its like. Assuming it gets out of the back of the van.

Just read in the papers that Tesco is offering lorry drivers a £1000 signing up fee if they sign with them before September. Theyre that desperate.

That looks like a lot of fun. Nice one.

Yeh I saw thats why its time for you to step up and stop Covid spreading.

A govt minister has said today- Britons considering a trip abroad this summer should be aware that “things may change” in terms of the rules for travel, a government minister has warned. Kit Malthouse was speaking amid speculation that popular destinations with rising Covid-19 infections like Italy, Spain and Greece could be added to the “amber plus” list requiring self-isolation on return to England - while restrictions on travel from France could be eased as fears about the Beta variant of coronavirus decline. For countries on the larger “amber list” - including most of Europe - vaccinated Britons are not required to go into quarantine on return, with the exception of France which is classed “amber plus”, meaning even those with two jabs must self-isolate for 10 days. Arrivals from “red list” countries - including India and Brazil - must spend 10 days in a quarantine hotel in England. Glad Ive not paid to add luggage to my flight in September @XTreme could u keep Spain off the red list, cheers.
