  1. I should probably get shot of mine before the new ones released. Who's gonna want 24.5 bhp when the new one far more usefully puts out just short of 40?!
  2. You gotta nip that in the bud, monies will be needed for farkles!
  3. Takes a minute or two to narrow down what you want out of a bike doesn't it. But the answers often more power Quite bored with the Himalayan now just because of it's lack of power on an overtake. Thing is whilst I'm fond of it I'm really not bothered about leaving it exposed to the elements in airport parking and it's simple enough that with YouTubes help I can fix most problems myself. Considered bringing the Bandit out here but they have a reputation for tatty paintwork and mines in excellent nick so I'd spend too much time wondering if the Spanish sun and desert sands were battering it to pieces!
  4. It beggars belief really doesn't it. If somewhere is in a convenient location you're gonna go in and see for yourself regardless of what anyone says. Not confirming the offer in an email stinks, it's got a whiff of stitch up straight ahead!
  5. A bike for fun times then. My favourite kind of bike. Not saying the more power you have the more fun it is but yer thats exactly what I'm saying So this is the third bike in just a year, keep this up and you'll overtake Pete in how many bikes you've owned
  6. Got the Keiss heated body warmer and rarely use it now just cos the sub zero artic suit is so warm. But before I had that I used it a lot from end October right through to May. That and heated grips was the difference between staying out and enjoying the ride and going home. Mr Slowly also has the body warmer and uses his all the time. He likes that its relatively thin so doesn't take up much packing space and fits under normal bike gear (so long and its not tight fitting stuff), it does exactly what its say it does (rather that the usual over promising) and has the advantage that unlike bulky layers or suits like the one I use when you get warm enough you simply switch it off. The disadvantage I found was forgetting you're plugged in and walking into a petrol station to the sound of a twanging lead being ripped from it's socket, but even though I did that more times than I can count it still didn't break.
  7. Feel the same about the Triumph dealer in Somerset 'Total Triumph' the woman who was in there was a miserable see you next Tuesday, said lots of negative crap to me. So much so I left and went to Brizzle!
  8. You feckin’ wish. The Pyrenees were mind blowingly gorgeous and time consuming. Still riding, am in.. hang on have to look on google maps, that’s right- cock’n’coke. Or what some people call Peniscola. Not an amazing place, won’t be returning but on a more direct route to Salobreña now. I’ll be back to annoy the living daylights out of everyone very very soon.
  9. I like dropping in here. The tightly drawn gender roles and well worn tropes offering comfort to an increasingly irrelevant section of society unable to adapt to a changing world taking comfort in the same sexist homophobic jokes that offer succour as if somehow it’s still edgy to dare to say it. It is indeed very funny, like having access to a living museum. There you go, that should keep you snowflakes going for a bit. Mind those collective blood pressures now those pipes aren’t as robust as they used to be Got some mobiking and sight seeing to do, what’s that? Pics?
  10. Dunno ask someone who’s not on a ferry running away
  11. Pah click bait bitch, not everyone’s got a shit life they need to run away from. Too much? Urr.. now now everyone’s entitled an opinion..no-ones right and no-one’s wrong. How’s that? Am I a mod now?
  12. Was'na gonna post cos busy packing for the ferry but muso things are always distracting. Something that's looked for by muso's is wanting to go to the actual shop and see the person selling n try it out if they have it in stock. Even if it means traveling a cabillion miles cos that's how important instruments are to musicians. Which is why the address in the contact details is useful, even if it states you can't just drop in and need an an appt. Appearing only be online only blah blah blah. You know the rest.
  13. Looks amazing, like theres no way you can fail to have fun!
  14. You have to take into consideration that if you compete theres a chance you might win and like fuck do I want my bike on the front page of this shitshow
  15. YERP ginger can have that effect on normal folk
  16. from what I remember my pops is certainly a bit orangutan downstairs but Mr Slowly harbours hints o ginger too
  17. It’s a rare but strongly recurrent theme isn’t it Both of my boys have ‘hint of ginger’ feck knows where that comes from. The tinge of orange minge infects most of the crazy faces Honestly Pete I have no desire to see your sparse infected hairs again
  18. Ginger abuse. My favourite form of legit abuse. Very soon it’ll be outlawed so let’s be total twats while it still has plausible deniability.
  19. Absolutely wrong. Where do you think all those nasty infections are spread from?
