  1. Past hour
  2. No, as above like deer, rabbits, boar, pigeons or such. I’d rather eat a deer or a rabbit which has had a relatively natural life than a supermarket chicken which has lived 6-8 short and shit weeks. I shoot and eat both - they need controlling, and I do it as humanely as I possibly can.
  3. I have a cousin that used to be vegan, she'd get in touch with the nature spirits and all that. Then she got together with a farmer and moved to the countryside, and first thought their new neighbor was a murderer for hunting boars. Two years later, and after a few times of having wild boars sniffing at her front door trying to get in and she's was on best terms with her neighbor and gets the ocasional boar leg as a thank you for asking him to come to her farm and clear them out The number of restaurants serving wild boar meat in rural Portugal is impressive, lately.
  4. I didn’t mean that to come across as a pop at you. I probably worded it clumsily. Sorry
  5. I agree, I just said I'm ok with people enjoying hunting animals that need to be hunted and serve as good food.
  6. I don’t think there is a chance of hunting deer or boar replacing factory farming. There are just too many people on this planet. It’s not sustainable long term and the future will be unpleasant for the majority of life. I understand hunting for food but not for entertainment. Oh and I don’t like factory farming either but don’t claim to have an answer to feed 8 billion people. It’s one of those subjects most look away from. Doesn’t justify animal cruelty but there is no easy answer.
  7. Like an animal that wasn't farmed inside a feeding station, that's what he meant. You and @Six30 sharing the same account?
  8. Fair enough. I really dislike being on a bike at night in country roads, always worried about animals crossing.
  9. My first non-paying customer...lol...one of my boys called and see if I could run his trail bike to his new location...20 bucks of petrol later..lol..at least I got a thank you..lol.
  10. What like a plant? You're sounding like a vegetabalist
  11. Today
  12. I work in rural Cornwall overnight, little to no street lighting for the majority of the roads. Good lights are important here. One big part of the reason I got rid of my Himalayan was the piss poor lights. I could make good use of the extra lighting on my CBF for my work commute. Although the lights are good as standard with legal LED bulbs more would be better. Not essential but better. The Hornet LED lights are also good but really only just adequate, could be improved.
  13. Can you read? Lions are not used for food nor are they an out of control population (like deer or boar in some parts of the world)!
  14. you surpise me ..
  15. If you're riding somewhere remote at night, it makes sense? I don't really see the point except if you live in somewhere where you really don't want to be out on the road at night anyway.
  16. I do not agree at all. Hunting or fishing as a sport has a place if nothing else for culling out of control populations, and more so if the animal is to be eaten and used. Some supermarket meat has grown for only weeks in a country, slaughtered and disassembled in another, and end up half way around the world. That's complete animal and planet exploitation, and one of the reasons we are doomed as a civilization. Most supermarket generic meat and fish really shouldn´t exist.
  17. Yes I have heard that is the reason, from a guy who moved from where I worked to drive for Tesco...
  18. Probably company policy to save fuel or something like that.
  19. Dodgy Fireticks!................How many have you got?
  20. Some of what you buy in Tesco has had a pretty shit and short life. Take a look at how chickens are raised for food, it’s pretty grim. I’d rather eat something which has had a natural life and a quick end if Im honest. People should understand where their food come from and what its been through.
  21. Yeah I have thought about that option, got a couple of links to get one just haven’t got around to it.
  22. Maybe so, but even doing 52mph I could still overtake Tesco vehicles, they seemed to be the slowest on the motorways
  23. I know it’s GS Owner prices, those lights also need a Can bus adapter to work so that is another £170 on top of the £900. Very impressive lights nonetheless. I’ll wait for cheaper chinky clones to come on the market.
  24. same as hunting now ... no need for it, you got a Tesco's on every corner now .... just for the warped individuals who like to kill animals
  25. I think all HGV can do 60 mph now.
