I wouldn't know but it's a quality bit of kit. My Mrs bought it for my boy at a garage sale for £10, then took it away from him but I can't remember why.
-
I think it is a rebranded Moulton.

I was given it at work years ago when I had a Sukida SK125 which was an exact chinky copy of an old CG125. There were 3 of us with Identical bikes one was a Sukida another a Yamasaki and the third was a couple of years older called a Hongdu. That lad with the Yamasaki got a new seat under warranty and gave me that one. Here's the video I made to sell it after 5 years of use. Cost me £700 delivered in the box did 8k miles commuting then sold it for £400. !00% reliable in that time. Not bad for chinky chonky although it was fettled and serviced on the button. I genuinely regretted selling I grew quite fond of it although dog slow, but a genuine 100 mpg.

Didn't Skorpian evolve into Akrapovic ?
- Today

Yeh .. I said I was going to Rhodes .. you twat
-
I got a seat off eBay some time ago when the boy had an old cg125. That had Yamasaki on the side too.
-
I know that feeling well
-
Wtf is a Yamasaki ? or is someone having a laugh ?
-
All I know about Scorpion is it's not the same exhaust as Skorpion that used to be around years ago ......
-
That looks like Rhodes Town .

I got a few quid burning a hole, but I am tempted to save it towards another bike. Or the Mr's will want something. Need to get of the net really, plenty to be doing but no enthusiasm
-
It's a Branded Land Rover push bike. Apparently they are valuable according to my Mrs. Whether we get anything for it or not is up to her I don't care. I may find another home for it, it's more barn find condition and I can't see why anybody would want it but then again I'm not a Land rover freak.
-
When my boy had one it suffered a common fault with the clutch basket drive cog splitting. Was never a prob but drove me nuts to the point I had to replace it.
-
That's an odd looking push bike

To be honest as long as it's not anything that leads to mechanical doom I do care that much. Shadow can get used to the noise. Tis a tiny air cooled single always gonna have a noisy motor one way or another. I am pretty relieved it's not coming from the engine casing just the same, thanks for the tip, I don't know why I didn't think of it, I saw my dad doing it often enough back in the day. I will see if I can source a stethoscope or just buy one from Machine Mart as Buckster suggested.
-
How long does this retail therapy go on for? Exhaust does fit the bike nice.
-
Could be the old spot weld come undone in the exhaust. Good hunting.
-
Wow, another inappropriate B.O.T.M. submission :)

Well finally got my old shed cleaned out with a fresh roof on it so I have somewhere to work on my bikes. Did the roof yesterday and all drying out nicely in there today despite pissing down all night. So no reason not to get on with the jobs in hand now. I think I will get the service done first then move onto the fork seals after. Found this while cleaning the shed out Also be under no illusions the shed is rotten in places, could be fixed and I may during the summer I have plenty of wood around to do it. Being arsed is the factor. Be a lot cheaper than replacing it. Smells pretty funky in there hoping that will go as it dries out. I bought the shed 20 plus years ago to keep my R100RS and R100R in. Obviously no work benches then. I got a photo somewhere.
