  1. Today
  2. Absolutely, that’s the fun part.
  3. Keep up the good work Saul. Always learning along the way.
  4. He has the right car already.
  5. You can't drive hgv without it.
  6. It won't, I have confidence in Loctite products, more than likely the whole handle assembly will pull off 1st.
  7. I think its expected because the foreigners do it, its not right but not much i can do about it apart from refuse if I feel fatigued, which i have done and didnt get penalised for
  8. So you wont be able to hear it when it snaps off again
  9. They can have it... cpc means fuck all
  10. Well if something happens, he could possibly enroll himself at the local college for a hairdresser liscen...
  11. Absolutely , sorry Rich but YOU'RE the one doing those shifts , not your employers . It will come down on you if you get caught
  12. If the traffic commissioner finds out you will lose your CPC.
  13. It will hold, glued where the lugs have broken off, just tried the handle, solid as a rock. In other news my hearing aid has packed up but got a audiology appointment for the start of February
  14. Pretty sure you need an 11 break between shifts by law in the UK. In my job we do 13 hour shifts (not all driving) and can't go over by a minute.
  15. Well we arent driving on tachograph laws so we're on uk law which should limit us to 11 hours working a day with 11 hours off, but they dont seem to really worry about the hours thing
  16. Its kinda strange they put those hours on you , isn't there a limit of hours in 1 days by law..that limit the hours..?
  17. Yeah i will, no more brutal 21 hrs double shifts days till the new year
  18. Nice little breack...enjoy.
  19. None and my day was very easy, it took 15 minutes and my day was done and now thats me off till the 5th January. Id call that a win
  20. How many butt cracks have you been exposed to today ?
  21. So you've really glued it together with just abit of hope then
  22. Small step to help fix the Sprint. Reference the slipping clutch I was told to rebuild the clutch slave cylinder as if it had been neglected it will stick. Known issue with the T300. I stripped it and was pretty disappointed to see it had spotless fluid and was clean. Bugger probably not that then. . Anyway I had the kit so fitted the new seal and spring and bled it all up with fresh fluid. Appears to be working well but not much hope of it fixing the clutch slip. But we shall see . As soon as I get the chance the next job is to get the carbs off and sort the tickover out. I’m not sure I need to strip and clean them as the bike is starting fine and running well, it’s just when I went to adjust the tick over knob it detached off the adjustment screw which you just can’t reach with the carbs in situ. So they have got to come off just to put that back together. Absolute pain in the arse. As it was ticking over fine but I messed with it. . I sort of hoping the carbs are fine as everything else on the bike seems to be well looked after but we shall see. I have a new set of carb rubbers so I will dig into it as soon as I get chance.
  23. Well I made a effort, I started the scoot, in the shed ..........been busy repairing the outside door handle on the Dacia, the plastic cover fell off, plastic lugs broke off, wife phoned Dacia dealer for me, but none in stock, and they cannot say how long it would be till one could! arrive, so let's hope Loctite glue works.
