Anyone know anything about mass airflow sensors?

I see you’re going full hipster and fitting “trail” tires on a K75. Smart choice for going to cafes with barbers and artisanal burgers in London. -
Anyone know anything about mass airflow sensors?
Nute replied to Nute's topic in MOTORCYCLE WORKSHOP
I has a back wheel .... if only I could find what I've done with the little insert cover that goes over the studs.... Still waiting on some front brake lines -
A friend of mine just bought a susuki v strom 800 a 2025..left over from last year...the one that's more dirt oriented ...can't wait to have a look at it...has he only picked it up last Monday...
-
Yes it's ok and the needle bearing in the back is still tight on the pushrod thankfully cause I need a special puller to get that out...I replaced the clutch slave many years ago with and original one , but when this one fails again ..it will be Oberon one...I also ordered two extra seals from a local bearing shops...still waiting for those also....just incase something goes wrong when I install the ktm one...lol. ...after I get the seal in there...gonna service the clutch oil jet...don't think that was ever service...
-
Kinda figured you would have remained qwiet after that humiliating defeats by Indian.. Lol....
-
The pushrod looked pretty good. I had to replace mine as it rounded off on the end and didn't work properly. If it were me I'd replace the slave with an Oberon unit, much more reliable. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/374208538446?chn=ps&_ul=GB&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-134428-41853-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=374208538446&targetid=2447165152256&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9241345&poi=&campaignid=23478383421&mkgroupid=194714730609&rlsatarget=pla-2447165152256&abcId=10587450&merchantid=137585916&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=23478383421&gbraid=0AAAAAD_Lr1cHU49xG7kSMYaotKQJXU6MK&gclid=CjwKCAjwn4vQBhBsEiwAq3hhNwY5Uko369wg6Sd-1Lc3bqGu-VXSth89Msq6s2XBAM8D7M8l1eeoORoCYDkQAvD_BwE

well I got a 300 dallar bike wash , by the look of the chain it looks like it was sitting outside in the weather..lol.......not to mention the amount of fuel I burned running it back and forth.....pretty discusted ...mostly my fault....should have looked at it better myself , but the service tec kinda conned me into bringing it in right away.....that trailler is nice but it makes that truck burn twice the amount of fuel...at 2,15 per L ...so I juste loaded it the back of the truck for the return ride.
-
Ya it was a little tricky to get the seal out...has it sitts a good quarter of inch inside the case...
-
Ya seal is no bigger than a dime...only a master technician would attempt removing it in this manner...you would have probably drilled into the engine case...lol.
-
Weather still to cold to do any morning rides...it's 2c at the moment...but we had a few afternoon of 15c or so and was able to take the indian for a few times...has the ktm is still waiting for parts...sure was nice to take the bike out after this long winter...
-
That will never run properly again.
-
Hopefully it will be back and running by the weekend ....this is the time of the year I like riding it more..has the roads are shit with potholes , and weather isn't to great for riding other than doing some off road...
-
Waiting for the throttle cam, deceided to clean the front sprocket area to remove the old chain lube...when I pulled off the clutch slave , a big table spoon of engine oil leaked out of it..from what I could tell the clutch pushrod seal was leaking...still waiting for the seal...suppose to be in this week...anyway the manual called for the pushrod to be removed in order to replace the seal...I didn't want to drain the oil has it was still fresh or take apart the pressure plate..so I did the old screw in the seal trick..
-
Anyway two weeks later I get a call...the technician had a look at it...said the entire engine would have to be pulled out and re- gasket everything...has for the the timing chain , it appears to be ok , but it's something we wouldn't be able to do this time of the year..it would be a winter project, ...asked them did you install a set of plugs..no...the grips..no..they sold me these grips with different types of cams wich I figure out doesn't work on this bike...so they ordered the specific one for this bike...so I decided afterall to pickup the bike and bring it home...anyway I have to give them and F for effort..
-
Told them wyll the tanks are off , could you install a set of fresh plugs , replace the handgrips has the old one were still the original ones from 2004 and were turning into plastic and have a look at this slight oil leak , it only leaked when the bike was running and was really hard to find exactly were it was coming from after the bike was ridden a few hundred km...
-
Well I was thinking of having the timing chain , tensiner and guides replaced...not having the proper tools here to take on such a job , deceided to take it to the dealer , that was a month ago , the service tec , insisted that I bring it right away before the summer rush starts...so I did...
-
I kinda remember this mechanical engineer telling you would definitely need to upgrade your oil pump ...but you insited otherwise....looks like that mechanical surgeon was right all along...lol.
-
you frigen dickhead , a month !!! you know I have a perfect excuse for my behavior .....its called cabinfever...
-
Total domination from the indian wrecking crew . did you watch both races Buckwheat ...road to Atlanta < Wismen did the busa special on the first corner ....into the weeds he went , race two , it was indian 1 2 3 , then the next day Harley changed the rules , clearly the harley were out- match so now they deceided to change the rules from last year , allowing harley to rev 200 more rpm......lol.

This video shows a CF Moto 1000 teardown, I find it quite interesting and impressive regarding the developments over KTM's original. Voice over is annoying, but way better than my Chinese

It's a side business Sofia started, we do custom guided tours tailored to what people look for. We try to keep it simple and casual like if you were to go on a road trip with a friend showing you around, so no support vehicles or anything like that. We haven't done many, it's basically going from word of mouth. On this trip all bikes are rented from a partner here that has a nice fleet of bikes from scooters to R1300GSA, in this case they're going to be three different sizes of CF Moto, a Transalp and an Africa Twin. We've had people coming from the UK on their own bikes though, and we meet them on the border or exiting a motorway somewhere.
