Plans for sturgis haven't changed...departing Aug 7...Dan is checking out some rides in the area...and average of 100 miles loops...we should be able to do two per day...on location for 3 days...only planning for one afternoon at the rally it self...can't wait...

Truck driver is a young man sport....my son works from 6 to 6...no weekend most of the time..at least he's getting good experience and if something else pops up down the road... Now don't laugh..lol....id be applying for a school bus driver if I was liscen to drive a Lori.. 2 months off during the summer..all of the school holidays..Xmas.. March breack..pension plan...work maybe 4 to 5 hours per day...

Just back from a test ride...perfect, exactly what I was looking for...hardly any poping during deceleration and I can now hear the intake noise... I can only describe what it was like before...like if you took two pieces of 2 by 4 and wack them together behind your ears...it got annoying specially in steep incline...or when ever you loaded the engine in lower gears...

Well that went well , though for sure I'd have to take the mufler off the bike...was able to pull it out without much fuss...one down...one to go...other than louvers...they look identical.

I don’t live in a city, rural village in Hampshire, but there are still to many street lights and other light pollution to get a really good view of the stars. Before Covid I went to Bolivia and stayed in a hotel in the middle of a desert at 5,000m altitude. Everything worked off of solar / batteries and all the power went off at night, no ambient lighting. The view of the stars was amazing, I stood outside ( it was bloody freezing) for ages just looking up at it. I don’t thing we will ever be visited by aliens, the distances between the stars is just to great.
