The inside is made something like a cat converter....you could probably cut it and remove the filter from it , but would probably start throwing codes... It will as it has pressure sensors seeing how bad the filter is blocked so it knows when to regen. Easiest is a chemical from Wurth you can spray into the DPF and run the engine, works a treat. Pedro Posted Monday at 19:55 Share Posted Monday at 19:55 Why don’t you take the snow stuff off and take it for a big ride, give it a workout at higher revs for a sustained period and see if it clears itself.

Im assuming that would work to....but would take longer, when the regen cycle is doing its thing , it dumps more fuel in the exaust port bring the temp up in the filter to burn the soot out.... Stupid system if you ask me for a 35 hp tractor completely useless...it just collect all that crap in the filter only to blown out of the exaust with burning a half hour worth of fuel... I've seen on line were they use high pressure water but the filter has to be remove...the filter breaks in two half in the center...
Catteeclan Posted yesterday at 06:41 Share Posted yesterday at 06:41 Can't see it from your pics but on a car you'd remove a pressure pipe or temp sensor which will be after the turbo at the front of the DPF.

Well it's doing the exact same thing...so the dpf being almost plugged wasn't the problem, he was telling me yesterday cause its high pressure it's impossible for it to get air ....im sure that's the problem, gonna call wensday and see if i can get the younger fellow who force bleed it with the laptop....that guy yesterday looked like he wasn't to knowledgeable with the electronic stuff... It'll spring some warning lights n fault codes but should run. Did the mechanic try a forced regen?

Did the mechanic try a forced regen? Yes that's the first thing he checked and force a regent cycle... Its still runs , just got this annoying unsteady idle , you have to bump the rpm to 1500 to keep it from stalling on start up...when its mild out it isn't to bad , but at - 20 , I think it's hard on the engine to crank up the rpm to 1500...I'd like to have it idle for a few minutes before cranking the rpm... Like I was saying its got air in the fuel system or something wrong with the pump maybe...ill wait till wendsday and see if I can get the same fellow who force blead it 6 months ago...if that temporary fixes the idle problem , then I'll. Know for sure its air in the system....
Catteeclan
I've never seen a blocked DPF upset the idle either. Thought you could remove to rule it out. Not tried the clear fuel pipes yet?

Yes I will after.... if its 100% air in the system....ill be only able to check from the tank to lift pump , fuel filter housing , before it reaches the high pressure side of the mechanical pump...after the pressure climbs to around 30,000 pounds of pressure ... Well it won't be drawing air on the pressure side

Cars normally raise the idle a little when the regen is happening, can't comment on a show blower. I'd bet that engine is fitted to other vehicles, could be worth finding out for info. Pedro
All this shit and you still haven’t taken it for a long ride to force a proper regen cycle at sustained revs, have you?
