Take the 950 to the strip and prove it unless you don't trust that bike either to get you there and back along with a few runs down the strip. Like I was saying Rich its all about time and reaction time...I can from actual experience from years of riding with cakeman on his bone stock 950..we raced countless time...I was always a few bikes length in front...that's with the 17 tooth sprocket...imagine now with the 16 tooth... It sure would be something to see... getting your arse handed to you on a sliver platter by a trail bike...lol. That would be fucken hilarious ..
