It was and amazing trip Rich..we left in March during Daytona bike week..two bikes in the back of my truck...drove down until we cleared the snowbelt...think it was north Carolina...and me and cakeman circle Florida, all the way down to the keys...coming up on the gulf of mexico side...if my memory serves me right....close to 7 thousand km in 7 days...

A thousand km per day or 600 miles a day you wouldn't have any time to do anything other than ride, no eating, no sight seeing id find that abit hard to believe

The scale is different in the US and Canada, you can travel for hours and not see much apart from the highway.  They aren't as tightly packed in as us.

I thought you were going to say their km/mile scale is different, like theirs is smaller Stan Lee Marvel GIF

You could have at least converted the bikes in to water craft and gone over to Havana

About  not skipping a beat...my bike slave cylinder let go , had to bleed it now and then during the trip...cakeman bike engine let go...we managed to limp it back to the truck...by the last days , when he fired it up in the morning..you'd loose the back end in a cloud of blue smoke...lol.

He had damaged the engine on the last summer ride we did...the notorious water pump seal...

Speaking of cakeman...we don't ride together anymore, on one of the last ride we did...return trip from laconia, him and Brian got into and argument and almost resulted into a fist fight ...after that it kinda it kinda souwerd the relationship...we had left late in the afternoon 3 pm or so to return back...and it was late at night...it was no time to be arguing on the side of the road ...found them to immature and ditch them not long after...

Sorry Six30...I keep forgetting that you suffer from limited intelligence...here I'll breack it down for you in a language you'll understand.

Don't remember exactly what they were going on about...but seen a side of cakeman that I didn't like....what we were doing at the time was just to extreem and stupid for most..leaving at 3 in the afternoon for a 800 km journey was just crazy shit...and Brian had a work related back injury, he was permanently disable , in no means capable of defending himself...I went along with the idea of leaving so late...has I remained the tail end rider...felt somewhat safe...but Brian really didn't like the idea...

For good measure I just have to show you Aberdeen one last time...Dam she was a pretty girl....I do regret at times not fully committing myself to the relationship....we sure had some good memories.

We do still chatt every now and then...mostly just for news and how everyone's doing...Her Daughter Maiya has moved out , few years ago , her son Logan now lives in Halifax, she has remained single since the breack up...and to be honest with myself, I kinda really enjoy what Im doing at the moment, have no drama in my life , no one to please or bitch after me ...do what I want , when I want...im totally free...no one to answer to...

Who knows maybe someday we will get back together at the old folks home...lol.
