  1. Rode west this morning out to Elgin's city dump....last time I was up here the road was still gravel....been paved now & is probably 1 of the nicest it town. Man, I'm lovin' these early morning rides.... Blasted smudge on the camera lens!....But the view is hard to beat.... On the way back down this newly paved road, I turned the PA level down to 0 & just coasted down to the flat part of the road.....saw 28 mph on the screen.
  2. Any of you saw a City Dump w/ this kind of backdrop?....
  3. Had a quick little blast around the 'hood this morning.....within 2 short blocks, got 'er rollin' up to 25 mph....surprising for a bicycle!
  4. Only 1 step away from that "Adventure Mobility" forum....he & Ren will be legendary!
  5. I used to have a Frank Thomas XTi jacket....until I had an off that tweaked my neck & the Life Flight helicopter ride resulted w/ that jacket being CUT off through the sleeves! Kinda pissed me off as I'd only had it for about a month. Really liked that jacket...but I saved all the armor out of it & have been using it to pad the inside of my hook. Hope you're just having an upgrade Lionel.
  6. No need for that 'cause Fred & I still have those Memories....which NOBODY can take from ya!
  7. Could probably give him a run for his money....on the Mullet.
  8. Weather's again improving for the next 2 days....all though it was 22f this morning Taking the Mullet for another spin after the Mrs. & I get back from a bit of grocery shopping...
  9. Not too many but next door in the panhandle of ID, they can be found.
  10. I've been blessed to see them petty regularly from my kitchen window....
  11. Walmart's meat sux.... the Mrs. & I just Traeger'd up a coupla steaks last night from BillyBobs....petty damn tasty!
  12. Need to ride it some more 1st, but I just visited their website & found out it has a 14amp hr. battery....& they're coming out with a bigger one yet. Weather's looking better for the next 3 days, so I'll have to ride some more on PA level 5 & maybe get a better idea on the range.
  13. Went to their site & inquired.... it's a 750w unit from a company called Star Union. Scored a fender set as well, while I was there.
  14. Front brake is already on the LH from stock....after I sort the electronic shifter, I'll see if I can swap the rear brake over to the left (flipping over the lever & MC)....depends on how room is left on the left side of the handlebar...it's gonna look a lot like my Mongoose...nothing on the RH side, just a place to latch onto w/ the hook. Not sure yet....still researching that.
  15. That his pal BillyBob has a moonlighting gig?.... Actually, this is only 3 short blocks from my place & I gotta say that they sell the best damn meat around! ...& cheaper than all the big name grocery stores that are 20 miles away. All my buddies & neighbors who hunt, take their kills there to get dressed & wrapped. I'm about to pay them a visit for another 50 lbs. of burger & some steaks....my freezer is gettin' empty!
  16. That looks like some Fun there Fred....nice report.
  17. I was laughing the whole time I took that one.... just for your sake!
  18. Sure was....mostly in PA levels 2 & 3. Got home & still had 86% of battery life left. Turned it up to level 5 for that last few blocks....Beast get's right w/ the program! The 750w motor really puts the power down.
  19. Headed back down towards town....had a stop along Clark creek on the way... Decided to have a closer look @ the Grand Ronde river that runs through an RV park along the way... en route towards that.... River is pretty full from the spring run-off right now.... not to fret there Pete...just remember-- It's NOT your bike!...lol On the way home I rode up north to the end of a new subdivision where there was a field full of dozy cows...1 came over to say Hi...lol Overall, pretty happy with the improved ride quality...but noticed some shifting issues (jumping between 7th & 8th gears)...but the electronic shifter should sort that out.
