  1. Its the camera angle Bob i could put up some unflattering photos but i might not wake up the next day
  2. Brake cleaner is ok its carb cleaner you need to keep away from paint and plastic that stuff is vicious
  3. A few photos of my mooch about the Lleyn Peninsula on Saturday this was the route its about 150 mile round trip from the campsite First stop was at Criccieth to look at the castle but you had to pre book on line to get in so its just a screen grab from google maps for you lot The wife settled for a walk on the pebble beach, what is it with women as soon as she was on there she starts collecting stuff to take home Thought i might see Bruce bobbing about in the background but no Next stop we had a walk up to this, after some googling found out it used to be a windmill Some great views inland and of the coast, no sign of Bruce though The hills of Snowdonia National Park across the water Stopped at another beach for a walk, i liked this one it was almost deserted and free to park Had a look for Bruce here but still no sign of him Headed back to the campsite via Llanberis pass, shot a little vid on the way up, was real busy as usual luckily the bus pulled in at the top so i had a clear run down the other side We ate and drank far too much over the weekend got to get back on the trail bike to burn it off i think
  4. I just got back from a weekend away with the wife touring a bit of north wales in the marmite wagon. There was a small gathering of people that normally go to a rally i do in February so we met up with them for a few beers in a Pub . The weather Friday was pretty bad but Saturday it was fantastic up there, had a few pints in a pub for the first time in well over a year. It was back to rain today on and off as we drove home
  5. Its easy in the dry get him on a wet welsh lane and see how he does
  6. The weather is all over the place Tuesday pissing down Wednesday i got sunburn on my head and neck then yesterday bloody pissing down again
  7. Not heard that before either Bob but interpenetrated it as someone who is a money grabbing bastard.
  8. The UCR that drops down to whitebrook is one of the hard bits at the start, i have only been down it for obvious reasons. I rode down Pant Glas steps a few weeks ago and reminded myself why i haven't been there for years LOL
  9. Knowing my luck that will be the one i end up buying
  10. Will you be riding stuff like this when you get it Pete
  11. The amount i spilled on the floor is probably worth a £1 now LOL
  12. Earliest thing i can remember with fuel is trying to put a £1 worth of fuel in a 5L can and spilling it over the floor because it wouldn't fit lol
  13. There's no adjustment on the front or rear so what you get your stuck with. If i got one i have thought of spending some of the savings on a few things to personalise it suspension being one of them
  14. With me it was being surprised how little my life changed from before corvid. i must have been an unsociable bastard then as well
  15. There's a number of things i can list off the top of my head i like over enduro bikes. Low seat height A comfier seat road bike service intervals £3000 cheaper than most enduro bikes Serviceable items should last longer chain tyres etc Good fuel economy Only thing i can think of that might bother me Will i miss the stomp of the bigger bike on the open road and the low down torque Will the soft suspension cope with my lardy arse (don't say loose weight that ain't going to happen)
  16. That's about the same price as red diesel here that has no road duty attached to it . I blame the people giving up smoking, when people stop smoking the governments revenue drops so they add to fuel so smoke more you bastards
  17. Well your workshop manual says NGK CR7E and so does numerous searches on line for Suzuki GSA 1250s bandit spark plugs so i'd say there's some thing wrong there
  18. No shes not bothered, she has her money and i have mine once the bills are paid we spend it how we like within reason
  19. Yup its a good job they are a common plug as their only about £6 each on my CRF1000 they are now down to £25 each and there's four of them a few years ago they were £53 each
  20. If covid never hit i would have bought a Beta X trainer the beginning of last year but in the meantime the CRF300l came along and now i'm torn between the two. i want something to take the strain off my XR. Thinking of selling the CB to make room but might all be another pipe dream lol
  21. don't forget the veranda and the west end cafe the three combined known to me as the power ranger triangle
  22. I liked the 250 on all the back roads and a few trails i snuck in around Bridgend without blunder road knowing where i was left wanting was on the open roads hoping the 300 will bridge the gap. But i'm also considering a Beta X trainer the CRF is the sensible option but when have i ever been sensible lol
