  1. What about the revenue they loose when everyone stops buying petrol and diesel, tax on cars is a drop in the ocean compared to that, it'll cost a fiver to dry my hair so god help someone who actually has hair
  2. You mean like when you post the ginger pox photo
  3. Just finished watching Platoon with the boy i think i will have this playing at my funeral so even the fuckers that hate me shed a tear
  4. If its done correctly there's no problems with them converted, there's people that have had them for 6 years now with no issues on the CRF page
  5. I don't have any bikes that are tubeless but been thinking of converting the CRF1000 ever since I've had it still haven't got around to it though I've even managed to get the wheels on the Beta air tight with rim locks fitted don't know how air tight but hopefully enough to get me home
  6. Take note @XTreme Had a delivery half hour ago it was this tubeless repair kit Find the hole and file it out with the supplied tool Then insert this thingy Insert this pre lubed rubber mushroom into the applicator tool Screw applicator tool to thingy in the tyre and screw handle all the way in Once screwed in pull thingy out of tyre leaving mushroom behind Pull mushroom to make sure the head is tight to the inside of the tyre Cut off excess with supplied knife just fixed a puncture in the rear of the Beta in less than 10 minutes and that included unpacking the kit its so easy no glue or mess. Pete when you get your top box fitted get one of these kits and an electric pump you may have to leave some of your DMB torture kit behind though. I run a Mousse in the tyre but I've made it air tight to keep out the crap and the idea was if the moose fails i can pump the tyre up and ride it home
  7. Marcel when you quote Pete can you please delete the photo seeing it once is too much
  8. Not a great photo put it up because the water industry are getting a lot of attention on the news at the moment about spilling into the rivers and sea. That's a storm overflow into the river USK at Llangynidr normally submerged Can you spot the Heron And this is the picturesque site attached to it
  9. Yes i see the boys changing batteries regular on a ride, the Drift seems to be a much better design for helmet mounting than the go pro to me. Although the chin attachment has to be the most unobtrusive location anywhere else makes you look like a teletubby
  10. Oozing is such a mange related word
  11. I was asking because one of the girls in the TRF uses her go pro for everything captures photos on the move as well still thinking about getting one
  12. Yes Except beans and tomatoes for me a slice of fried bread would be nice next time @Slowlycatchymonkey
  13. Reservoirs are low here as well Pete and we've had rain this last week but the ground is so dry it just soaks it up. Do yo use the go pro for the photos or do you use something else
  14. Yeah i like the feel of it squeezing between my toes
  15. I was going to put this in a photo you took today but i took it yesterday and it didn't fit in the nature section so only place left was the Mange section
  16. I wouldn't call it a fascination more of a challenge for me and sometimes its a long diversion if you don't go through. Its not flooded its a ford a road that crosses a river with no bridge quite common on small roads here
  17. Yes i started off using the old mans tools but after a big argument about me leaving his stuff all over the place and him not believing it wasn't me i ended up buying my own tools, I always thought it was my eldest brother that was to blame but after leaving home for a few years and being in his workshop which is still a mess i am now convinced it was the old man not us
  18. I agree but i don't miss the rust the old cars suffered from
  19. Yes i was doing a lot of that in-between spannering although i didn't realise i liked the rave scene until it was too late i was always at motorcycle rally's feel like i missed out there
  20. Anyone remember poems like this from their youth There was a young man from Leeds who swallowed a packet of seeds in less than an hour his prick was a flower and his arse was covered in weeds
  21. Just supervised the boy taking his battery off his car to put it on charge its his first mechanical job he's just about to turn 19. Got me to thinking about what i had done by that age. At the age of 13 i had made two working models of stationary steam engines in a night school at Merthyr technical college and fitted a mono shock to the rear of my old grifter pushbike at 15 i was working on my old mans VW T2 split screen, i had cut off rotten sills and outriggers rear corners and welded on new ones, the outriggers i manufactured from sheet metal from scratch bending and forming to fit (wish i finished that project but gave up) at 16 i stripped and rebuilt a DT175 engine and various bikes of my mates, at 17 i converted a CB100N into a XL125 with big suspension wrote it off then cloned a KX125 into it, by his age i had built my 400 chop and rebuilt a robin reliant engine twice and cloned one by making a good i mean working one out of the two i'm sure there's more , so was i the only one tinkering like this.
