Had a bimble on the Hornet this morning up to Devon and Dartmoor. Absolutely stunning part of the world. Anyway years ago at a Saab meet camping weekend we went to the Highwayman for a few beers. We had a great night in a very interesting pub. Worth a Google if you are interested.

Funnily enough my Mrs asked me what the fuck I was watching when she heard it,

Not every time, although I am sure she will be fine

I am a big fan of the CB500F it is an excellent bike and for the cost I don't think anything comes close. So I understand why you don't want to change. I only did 5000 miles on mine and I couldn't really fault it, but mine was bought for commuting to work and when I decided to stop that I felt that I could buy something with a bit more fun factor which lead me to the Hornet. I looked at several other bikes but the Hornet was the right choice for me although a Triumph 660 ran it close. I think that my affection for the CB500F probably tipped me in favour of the Hornet, they are very alike in many ways.

As you probably know I traded my CB500F for a Hornet. I agree with the light looking a bit odd. I bought a small screen that improves things in my opinion. Ride a Hornet if you can I am confident you will be impressed, very much like the CB500 just better in every way. I love mine and the only downside for me was the higher fuel consumption, but that is the only thing I can think of and not a big deal in any way.

My favourite of all time, that I owned in the early 2000’s. 1978 BMW R100RS. Bessie Big Jugs. Loved that bike and was an absolute fool to sell it.

I think a months free loan was the deciding factor. Wish someone would lend me a Trans Alp free of charge.

I must say I am impressed I have just put 22.04 LTS Jammy Jellyfish on one of my ancient MacBook Pros. It took less than 30 mins to install and set up and I have the latest version of Chrome running a treat. Really improved the machine that was struggling with MacOS and an old unsupported version of Chrome. All good so far.

He seems to be getting along well with the Trans Alp

Had a good week back to walking, been building up to it but pleased to be on the right track. Hopefully on the right road to being less of a fat bastard.

Chap I know in Fowey has a dual motor Model 3 Tesla, he took me for a show off type of spin in it last year. It was brutally quick. So much so that it actually hurt the way it threw you around with the G forces. I was left feeling I didn't want to be a passenger in such a thing. I can see it would be fun to drive and I would like to have a go, I don't think I would want one though. I like my jalopy motoring cheap and cheerful for me. I love my old Beamer and will keep it.

Just been watching Star Trek Continues on YouTube. If you like the Original Series this is sort of a continuance of it with different . I am a Trekkie so I loved it but I can see how people wouldn't. Also found series one of Kojak on YouTube and have been lapping that up.
