I know they were shit high. Most of the bike was like that when I got it, I have been cleaning nooks and crannies for the year I have owned it. Nearly there now . Also part of the reason I got someone else to do it I know it was shit high in there.

Got the bike back yesterday with all the new bearings fitted. Bike feels much better/quieter and steers well. Funny thing was I hadn't realised how much the steering was affected by the bad bearings. Because there wasn't any notch when riding I just didn't notice it deteriorating over time, but there was a noticeable notch when I put the bike on the main stand and moved the front wheel side to side. It feels much better now though and that may also be going from ball race to tapered bearings as well as the old bearings on their way out. Also had a good look at the old bearings, one of the fronts was noisey and two of the three backs were stiff to turn. So it was due time to change the lot.

It is mate, there are parts of Bodmin moor that are practically never travelled, only 5 miles from the main road but unknown. I would love to live there, just so peaceful and quiet. . You would want a 4x4 though.

Went out for a ride this morning, went to Damerells then Padstow and then followed the A39 (Atlantic Highway FFS) to Camelford then onto Bodmin Moor at Davidstow. Just a stunning place to be. Got lost for 30 minutes or so but knew it was all good when I found St Breward. Onto Blisland then down the A30 to Bodmin.

I have always had an itch for one, I know it's old tech and my CBF is a better bike there is that hankering. I had a K100RS years ago and really liked it but it was just to heavy and tall for me, hence why I thought a K75S might be a better option. That one needs a few bits to make it an everyday but bike for around another £500 you would have a very useable retro or classic.

I think his bikes are cool and unique but not 50K cool. Is it him trying to get that though or some chancer?

My mate who recently bought a new Z900RS has just bought this 20 miles away. 22k miles and massive folder of receipts for £950. I thought about it and thought about it, sent the link to my mate, who has similar tastes, to ask his opinion, he messaged back, sorry mate it's already in the back of my van. Me too, I think they look like bikes should. Can't see me ever owning one, I'm not about the noise or vibes or tassels but I do think a simple unspoiled Harley without the skulls and pointy tat is a very cool looking machine.

Nothing exceptional really just a 40 mile run up to Damerells and back with my mate on his new Z900RS. Some really nice bikes up there and saw another CBF600. Some tidy bikes but most of them I have seen before. Doesn’t seem to matter which bike night you go to down here most of the same group to to every one. Mind you having said that I did see a really nice Harley Street Rod 750 in white and a new Trident 660 that was cool. Didn’t take many photos tonight. Dunno why really Really tidy Sportster.

I don’t think it’s that common to be honest. Some bikes and models maybe but not common.
