  1. It is, taken from his 14th July ride report
  2. So my job as a temporary veterinarian assistant saw me holding down a dog as he had his butt checked, he didn’t like it one bit as one can assume. But I used the technique I use when I need to hold Costa in the vet and it worked a treat. But today we had a cat with serious skin problems in need of a skin scratch sample and a blood sample. To my horror I was told that I would probably be holding it down, but @Sofiamanaged to do all of it with minimal fuss and I had to do nothing except hold a little bit of cotton to stop the blood after the sample was taken. I was scared shitless through the entire thing and I swear he could see the terror in my eyes when he looked at me while I was holding his paw and was evaluating how many more seconds he would give me before tearing my face to shreds. All was ok and I managed to not be mauled, but this is a very unhappy cat:
  3. Sorry, photos starting from the 26th October until the 30th November. I’ll adjust the dates and start voting polls from now on on the end of the month.
  4. They are great, but I hate having them on when it’s not raining. Visibility just isn’t the same.
  5. A car the other way and the worst could have happened, you would have a slightly wet bike. That kind of shock brings it all into perspective. The BMW is doing well by you, even your pictures are brighter and prettier. Less of the crumbling houses and more of grand views.
  6. I don’t get it, as soon as the wet rain stops you ride straight into a wet puddle? Cool stuff, though, I used to ride through a few of those on the XR back when in was up north, anc it’s great fun.
  7. Look at the state of that passport, @Tym, unless you’re Indiana Jones there is no excuse for that
  8. Well, you certainly wouldn’t want a stale one
  9. If business keeps going the way it is, I might just be able to go on a big ride sooner than expected
  10. That’s quite a story, mainly from someone who hadn’t traveled before. This is meant as a compliment. Those 660s look great, I never rode one but they just look like they handle nicely.
  11. I would like to have proper mexican food here, seems tasty, but it’s not something you find easily in Portugal
  12. @MooN’s Triumph has won the October’s Bike Of The Month vote. I look forward to many more ride reports!
  13. Still 37 minutes to go Pete, this is what it must feel like to run an election.
  14. All I know is that if I’m not let out on my Christmas/afterChristmas ride this year, I’ll throw an almighty tantrum
  15. It’s now 18:00, in 6 hours this vote better be sorted with a winner
  16. Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2, i am going back to TKC70 as soon as these are worn enough that it doesn’t make feel foolish in replacing them.
  17. Moon is ahead!
  18. My bike will not be ridden in the weekend, this is a lockdown weekend and I’m away from home so it’ll be locked in until Tuesday
  19. The big GS is a very balanced bike and very good when there is a little grip and you can keep a little momentum going. I really dislike these tires, though, immensely.
  20. I have told another portuguese member that he is required to vote. We’ll ser how it goes.
  21. Spending the weekend assisting Ericeira’s favourite vet, today helping a lost puppy
