Now as you know, the BOTM (Bike of the Month) winner gets their bike in the header for a month. The problem is that because of the height restrictions for the header (cos you can't have it coming right down the page).......pics have to be taken from a distance which tends not to look that good. So I've come up with the idea of moving BOTM winner elsewhere "below the fold" and running with an eye catching graphic in the header instead. There are top quality images I could use there......but I'd like to personalise it a bit by using members' bikes textured into it. So here's the way forward! @Pedro will start a new thread where you can submit your entry......one member gets one entry. So if you have multiple bikes you have to select one only. To get a decent number of bikes in the graphic we ideally need a front view showing a bit of the side......something like this..... And try and have some sort of decent background immediately behind the bike. Not taken in front of a Dumpster, or a public toilet or something! Obviously the site is adventure based so some good offroad ones would suit, but we also need road ones too. So even if your bike doesn't fit in the adventure/dualsport/enduro genre it's still eligible. Even @Tym's mopeds qualify......but @BusBoy's boat and @Buckster's bus don't. I know this site is a bit different to others in many ways......but boats and buses are just too surreal! At this stage I can't say how many bikes we'll get in there.......cos we can't jam them in. I'd estimate about 6. Ultimately it may come down to a vote.......so you need to find your best shot and in the highest quality that you can. Don't post your entries here..... @Pedro will start a new thread for that. But if you have any ideas that may be useful then let's hear them! Well Six has opened the door a bit now.....so I will add to what he said. When I asked the Mod to show me where we were giving noobs a hard time (cos that's what we were accused of)......he went away for some time and came back saying he couldn't find any examples of that happening. None! They didn't exist! Then he added that "it was a feeling that the Mods had". WTF is that all about? Is the place run on "feelings" now rather than rules or actual things that have happened? And also that we (as in me and Six) were making something out of nothing. So us proving that we hadn't broken any rules meant that we were making something out of nothing? What was a red flag to me was the line "This place wouldn't be the same without you two". So out of the blue the scenario where we were no longer members was introduced into the equation. Does any of this make any sense to you? Cos it sure as hell doesn't make any sense to us. Basically we were singled out for no reason! Or maybe they did have a reason known only to themselves? Who knows? If they don't want us there just tell us straight out. I'm fine with that! Yes.....there are times when you run forums that you need to deal with situations.....I know that very well after nearly 20 years of running forums. But it wasn't the time because there was no situation. We just had the PM out of the blue late at night. Am I bothered? Not at all. Have I got bad feelings towards the place? No! I wish them all the best for the future. I've moved on and I'm quite happy where I am! @Six30......if you think I've said anything that's not correct then just call it out.

I can only apologise for this disgusting stuff in here Michelle.......looks like @skyrider and @Swagman are responsible. In their defence I would add that they have only just been let off the leash from a forum where they have had to be very reserved for a very long time. Simply because the membership there tends to get easily offended. Even by gifs! So I think their enthusiasm has got the better of them.
