It's a legacy of being on the other forum Bob......not a lot goes on there as you've seen. A 2 minute ride to the local car park and one blurry pic taken next to a Dumpster constitutes a ride report of truly epic proportions.

Weather's looking decent enough....... However, I've got a round trip of 300kms tomorrow to take the wife shopping in Murcia! So it's only Sunday on the cards for me! What about you lot..........doing anything of note or just being sad twats?

You know the criteria......it must be your bike and it must have been taken this month. The submissions thread will be open from now until Monday evening......at which point the voting thread will then be opened, with voting taking place on Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th June. Winner then gets their bike displayed on the front page for the duration of July! So start placing your entries NOW! Remember that you can change your entry if you end up with a better shot this weekend! I'm sure @Six30's bike in a van and @Mawsley's wrecked Vespa will be serious contenders given the pitiful standards that we keep!

New rules on the use of face masks in Spain will come into effect on Saturday, June 26. As of this date, the covering will not have to be worn outdoors if a distance of 1.5 meters can be observed. It will, however, be mandatory to carry a face mask at all times so that it can be put on in situations where social distancing cannot be maintained.

I think Buddy must be about 8 or 9 now.......so most of that time!

Yes.....that seems to be the normal thing to do really. If Six changes the bike will he need to change the van as well......fresh start sort of thing?

Living where I am I know quite a few guys who combine a biking holiday with taking the wife as well. And there's two types! Those who come over with their wives on the plane and hire a bike on the days they want to go out. The other type (which is the most popular) is the wife flies out......and the guy rides out, usually getting here before she does. Then on the return, she flies out......then he leaves. I meet up with a guy who does this every year......and he brings his dog Buddy on the bike. I'm seeing him again in September. Apart from guys with little trail bikes that can't do distances, or track bikes that are not road legal, I've never heard of anybody doing it your way. It's a bit Sturgis "Trailer Queen" for me!

Surely the riding to these places is what makes the holiday though? Wouldn't it be better if you and the missus went by plane to wherever you're going? Being stuck in a van for days isn't much of a holiday is it? Then take a few trips away on the bike on your own?

Well he did do a sort of Dark ride report last year on the other forum where he was visiting some sort of inner city no-go area. I suppose he could have taken the GSX in the van and took his profile bike pic by that tunnel? Then popped it back in the van and went the rest of the way by bus?

That's his bike in there though!
