I wish I hadn't sold my R1150GS because it was a great bike! And I wish I'd kept my Kawasaki 500 H1......mainly because it would be worth a mint today. As for the others.......no! They just served a purpose at the time. Bit like ex-girlfriends really!

I'd never been abroad Bob.......coming here was the first time. 16 years now and never regretted it! Strange how some Brits resent people like us though?

Think back to when we were young Bob.......we never ever imagined we'd end up living abroad did we? It just didn't happen then.......and it looks like it's going to go back to that.

Back down to 16 in the town! However, the fifth wave of coronavirus in Spain registered it's highest daily fatality rate so far yesterday with 201 deaths. I'd like to know how many of these were fully vaccinated though.....but they're not giving that info out.

It's difficult to describe really.......but despite it looking like a big, overweight ugly bastard the ride experience was like nothing I ever experienced before or since. It felt like you were sitting on an armchair on the roof of a car and no matter how bumpy the road got you were not disturbed in any way. Going round corners it was just so planted......you take a line and that's where it stays. It was like it was on rails. Pedro probably knows what I'm talking about......cos after riding Big Bird he got into Beemers.

The only bike I could ride for hours and get off feeling as fresh as I did at the start.
