  1. In our early teens we went into a corner shop in Bristol on our way to Easville Market. It was quite early on a Sunday morning and it became clear that the owner (sat on a stool) was nursing a big hangover. He told us to sort ourselves out , so we did. We had about five chocolate bars each , put three pence in the till and took out three pound notes as change

  11. I didn't know when I bought it, I found out a couple of years later I'll see if I can find the magazine article.
  12. I have a Jamie Whitam link. My first DR350 was ridden by him from coast to coast in the north for a magazine article. It was a Suzuki press/evaluation bike before I bought it.

  14. We were on KTM950 x3 , Africa Twin 750 x 2 and a Transalp. There are a couple of boulder fields along the route (I think in total it's about 26kms) but we didn't have a problem.
