WTF breed of pansie ass bikers are out there now?
Motobiker replied to Cupid Stunt's topic in GENERAL CHAT
Theres also this for car drivers, but I guess it might be useful for those van drivers amongst us. Nothing worse than "Helmet Hair" when driving from one photo opportunity to the next. -
It’s oil. Gear box oil. Every roller has the same.
-
Always happy to grovel in the dirt for the chance... the slight chance that it might improve my sense of self worth and bring a little meaning to my presence on this here motorcycle forum despite owning an oversized scooter and having no van. .

Keep an eye on Amazon and eBay - they occasionally have discount offers almost randomly pop up. Not long ago eBay had a short lived 20% offer, which meant things like this were effectively vat free

Is he posting selfie’s again, I daren’t unblock him and look. (I’ve just eaten)

The pain in Spain falls mainly on the insane.. though being forgetful can have the same effect.

I think there is a confusion between bikes designed and built in china using all Chinese materials. And bikes assembled in china on behalf of larger manufacturers using materials supplied or specified by them. The two are worlds apart.
-
I guess he means it’s Chinese shite because the G series bikes are assembled in China, assembled to BMWS specifications. Obviously.

Odd review this as they seem to be implying this is a whole new bike, but it isn't. it has some very slight updates on the 2020 version, not an evolution, more of the same bike as the 2020/21 version with a few tweaks here and there that nobody would really notice. Theres not even a stand-out new colour version.

There are a lot of complaints about the rear shock on the Africa Twin, including my variant. But, it seems fine to me. On road. Certainly not a pressing issue to replace it. Ask me again in a couple of years. I’ll probably go for something familiar like a Wilbers, made to measure and like everyone else rave about how the bike is transformed. Because of course it will be, swapping from a tired budget OEM to one made by specialists. but right now it’s nowhere on my priority list. In fact nothing is, aside from paying off the loan early.

How appropriate is that!!

Finally I can feel the wind on my vagina once more
Motobiker replied to Cupid Stunt's topic in GENERAL CHAT
Scooters are where it’s at. The in thing, made to be ridden not transported by van to some picturesque location within a mile of your front door so you can pretend to be something worth paying even the slightest amount of attention to. And that. given the title of this thread I’m surprised it’s not overpopulated with wishful thinking posts about that very brief moment in time he actually encountered a real live vagina. In the delivery room. you have to wonder though… did the midwife turn round and slap his mother? something to ponder. -

4.. or were you flattering me? -
Gogs, Gwyddels and Saes. I shall feel right at home. I work with adult men with profound learning difficulties, mental health disabilities and associated violent challenging behaviours. who are deemed to be safe enough to live in the community. But need 24hr care and support. I do nights. Put like that they do sound bad, but the behaviours only happen in the home environment, they are extremely well behaved when outside. They have spent most of their lives in mental institutions, this is supposed to be a step towards full independence, but the reality is they will need this level of support for life.

The excitement is getting to me, we had a fun night where one of the guys, unknown to us, seemed to think it would be a really spiffing idea to throw his bedding out of his bedroom window and then was complaining that he couldn't sleep without his quilt, which at the time was draped over the recycling bin and being enjoyed by a cat!! Sorted him out and then calm was restored until 3am when one of the others woke up and decided he really wanted to go to the Co-op and buy chocolate and despite owning 17 watches didn't know the time, He can't actually read a watch. He was getting quite agitated so, I made him some hot chocolate - laced with valium. (not really - but oh lord, I was tempted) Being threatened with the now familiar line: "I'll put you in hospital" over the inability to buy a milky way at 3 o'clock in the morning. (sigh) And then was banging on about going to Amsterdam to look at the ladies in the red windows for the millionth time, and me, for the millionth time telling him that we're not allowed into Amsterdam because of the virus. no planes. which makes me a liar. (obviously) so fists were raised, again. And so it goes on. I love my job, really I do. I've never been to Pembrokeshire, so its playing on my mind a bit, there is a ferry from Pembroke but the sailing times weren't much use to us, lunchtime is far more civilised!!
-
Difficult night, God knows why I put Pembroke Dock!! We’re sailing from Fishguard!!! Saturday lunchtime.
-
Quite cool here 8am and 13c. Week today, heading for Pembroke dock.

You use the switches because the bike cannot see whats coming, it doesn't have eyes. did I mention he was dumb? as well as a bore. stop quoting him because then I get to read his inane comments.
-
yes, though it will not allow a gear change if the engine is either too slow or too fast. occasions when a gear change would be silly. same on bends, if the bike is cranked over it will not allow a gear change, either by accident or on purpose as that would/could be dangerous, if not just plain daft. It has 6 gears and 2 clutches. one for evens and one for odds. when its in an even gear the other clutch is ready for an instant change. its very clever.
-
I do, I have owned geared bikes since 1980. I wanted something a bit different. Anyway, you are a bore. so off to the ignore list you go. (though I'm betting he will not be able to ignore me and any posts I make.) did I mention he was predictable?
-
Oddly enough so do I, it has 'up' and 'down' buttons on the left handlebar - ideally placed for the thumb and index finger. push a button and it drops (or ups) a gear. click. I like it mostly because its impossible to stall on highly technical mountain roads. which is very handy indeed. Gear changes are so incredibly smooth.. almost unnoticeable. No lurching back and forth which is great for a pillion. no chance at all of helmet tapping. And all this means that the clutches and chain have a very easy life. The switches are marked + and - in the photos. These instead of a gear lever.
-
Who knows how his mind works. I don't exactly make a secret of it and even, rather mockingly call it a scooter myself. It isn't - because most scooters don't have a traditional gear box. I guess its more that I ride my bike rather than transport it in a van for a photo opportunity. The levels of insecurity are really quite amazing. You might have noticed, his tendency to simply copy what is said about him and then repeat it back. That speaks volumes.

He’s doing that looking in the mirror bit again . But if he wants to be immature and use “Gay” as some kind of insult or slur then that’s just fine. I’m really quite secure in my sexuality. Whereas the types that go on and on about it, usually are not. In psychology these behaviours are pathological, so deserving only of pity. either that or he's just another sad troll. (with a van)

I was never one for chopping and changing bikes, a few, a very few I only kept for a year or two - mostly because buying it turned out to be a mistake. But, there was one that I regretted selling and even today, 27 years later, I still miss. Sadly it was destroyed by its buyer, which just makes my regret a little more poignant. I bought one of these in 1988, one of the very last Meriden Triumphs. A 1982 Triumph T140TSS and for me it was the bees knees. Sold it in 1994 because I wanted one of the first Hinckley machines, which was a bike I really liked. But, it wasn't the same. My dad used to make money on the side by refinishing Triumphs and he did his magic with mine and so it was completely solid and never leaked. I never had a single problem with it. not once. It looked almost exactly like this.
