'The Gold' on BBC player about the Brinks-mat robbery. Not factually entirely accurate but they're upfront about having made stuff up for entertainment purposes right from the start so that's fine by me. Not on the same level as Slow Horses, Happy Valley or Rogue Heroes but still an enjoyable watch even just as a reminder of the much starker us and them divide of the 80's.

Too many unresolved things. Two cars on order with delivery delayed til 8/9th March, remote invoicing still not up and running, dental appointments cancelled and rescheduled for mid March and unable to find a property in Brizzle which is starting to look like a bitch of a job cos whatever the slowing of the market is happening elsewhere its not effecting Bristol. It’s well known for sending you off to sleep but then disrupting the type of sleep you get, for some the disruption wakes you up. Hmph. If I’d had more I wouldn’t have woken but then I’d of felt groggy today and I don’t enjoy that. Bit annoyed I sabotaged myself cos I was looking forward to beer and the rugby today and now I don’t fancy it. Heyho. When I finally gave in to the power of the e-reader the book about the ultra dull man’s travels had me asleep in 10 minutes

So did we when I was at school but thats a whole world away from being obliged to report it. There are still plenty of shy teenagers who like to keep themselves to themselves who would die inside.
