Just looked it up The standard BMW ones for the F800GT which you expect to be expensive are also not great, they're too small and the aluminium panniers (without racks) are between £700-£1000. At that price they can do one!

Yeah well she was annoying the crap out of people for other reasons and it was starting to look a bit lynch mobby which isn't conducive to a good time, I chose a 'the greatest good for the greatest number' move even though I also wanted to brain her, still do Plus she'd already had a couple of meltdowns, I couldn't be doing with a third! I'm not fond of people who can't hold their shit together when they get tired or stressed, they're far too much like hard work!

It's always a surprise just how much they can charge for a bit of moulded plastic.

Mind you I mostly have Givi but I really like the quality of sw motech
-
What about Kappa? They are Givi by another name.

Feel like I'm being mean to cows stupid twat. Then later everyone pitched into her with the "what the fuck did you do that for" stuff and I had to smooth it over. That was the bit that really grated, being nice to an idiot for the sake of peace and quiet whilst silently thinking YOU ARSEHOLE
-
Yep. Or not fully loaded. Or not inviting the stupid cow

Give me the baseball bat Wendy.

Took the 9T, the F800 and the Livewire for MOT, all good The Enfields are next week, not so confident on those getting through an MOT as they've done a lot of miles. Booked the Bandit in cos I dropped it, a stupid cow threw me a dummy by slowing down as we approach a tricky turn so I slowed down, then she sped up and took the corner but then stopped dead in front of me for no apparent reason while I was turning a steep, narrow 90 degree cobbled street with one of those vicious cambers you get when cobbles collapse so I had to stop dead. I so nearly kept it upright until I didn't The wall jutted out and the radiator landed on it. Which now drips. Guess how much a the official Suzuki radiator is for that bike? He said last time they managed to get an aftermarket one for £170 guess which one I'll be going for!

Oh dear, someone is putting pins in my eyes

Thats why he needs to start gathering the evidence she’s not a fit mother but from what you’ve said he doesn’t have that in him
-
Your children are always your problem. Must be pretty bad if he’s telling Pete about it.
-
I can’t help but feel he should start documenting these things and go for custody, it’s no way for children to grow up.

Everyone needs choc ices!
-
Surely this is the perfect opportunity to scoot to places. Wifey can’t possibly object to you popping out to pick her up a choc ice!

There's some sort of memory for cooling mechanisms cos I don't find it bad at all now. Up to 32 degrees is generally ok out of the sunshine. Over 35 degrees I'm not happy! Plus the air is different. July I came back to Blightys MUCH lower temps and yet felt much hotter than I did in Spain, yes humidity and wind speed have a strong influence but its a weird brew of factors the body seems to remember how to deal with.

I'd swear you didn't have that done very long ago?

It's bordering on ok but not brilliant. Different countries vary for how seriously they take different medical conditions. The Spanish medical establishment does not consider high BP to be that serious, the French take it a little more seriously but not quite as seriously as British doctors do - I'm not saying they are in anyway superior, there are many other things they should take as seriously as other countries do but just don't! The closer to 120/80 the better, over 130 or 90 is not ideal. The simplest way to explain why is - the less pressure against old pipes that crack easily the safer it is. A snap shot BP showing your nearing a more normal range does not give a picture of what your blood pressure is most of the time which is the important part of the equation. If you go for surgery and your BP is too high they will cancel you as high BP equates to If you go along armed with a load of BP readings that show your BP is normally ok they don't tend to cancel and will simply give you meds to lower your BP during the procedure. Turn up unarmed without any info and you risk cancellation. Sorry if that all sounds a bit matter of fact but I figure you're better off knowing.

That's postural hypotension (as opposed to hypertension). Your blood pressure hasn't responded quickly enough to allow for movement so you feel lightheaded. Don't go jumping about too quickly

Says the man with high blood pressure

Wow you ate some great stuff while you were away! It's made me hungry and as I'm in the middle of some more basic experimental kettle cooking it has suddenly made the meatballs I'm doing seem very unappealing
