  1. Posted this somewhere else a while ago but it still makes me laugh. Poor woman ??
  2. If it’s anything like the “whatever came to hand” repairs here the duct tape n bailer twine would always get you to the furthest point away from any help before breaking ?
  3. Hmm ? Well being likeable and inoffensive are marvellous traits that carry a lot of useable credits, if I liked a bet on the geegee’s I’d expect a survival rate of around 80% on that one. Not that I’m saying your a horse or anything @skyrider I’ve never seen you.... just heard the rumours ?
  4. Had the same thing, thought it was Sunday, managed to skip more than one day
  5. The Covid jabs a joy tho ay, I’m having a massive party when I finally get mine.. a party for a maximum of 6 outside all socially distanced... ?
  6. It’s all up in the air. We’ll have to see what’s left of the business when the true financial cost of the C word is known. It was in my hands before, rented a place in January was going out in March, tell god your plans ?
  7. Crying into my soup over your weather and heres. ? If it wasn’t for the bastard coronavirus that weather would be mine!
  8. Gorgeous and really not helping me to not go crazy with this lockdown bollo ?
  9. Lots of countries are like that though aren’t they. In some countries it’s seen as grotesque to have new cars, flashy and ostentatious. French folk also hold onto their cars. Having a crumbling car is no indication of wealth, I quite like that. There’s a lot of car snobbery about here, the Hyacinth Buckets are alive n kicking ?
  10. Soaking leather trews in coffee is never gonna make the owner smile.. the malcontents look pretty happy though!
  11. LED looks good btw much cleaner (and I don’t mean not dirty) just kind of neater.
  12. There are metal dust covers? Dumb question but how do they stay up/attach?
  13. That’s cool and explains it, they have got the look of someone who has a good eye for the right angles and light. Great thread. Sadly not one I will be contributing a huge amount to cos my photography skills at the top of their game are mediocre ?
  14. You pics are good, are you taking them with a sophisticated dslr or do you have the touch with the ol iPhone?
  15. Hmm a Harley riding theatre goer. A picture is forming ?
  16. They definitely do look better dirty. I nearly sold mine once (big mistake I won’t repeat) got as far as leaving it at the dealers (they were selling it for me) woke bolt upright next morning... nooooo raced up and retrieved it. Took it straight to the Overlander festival where every bike is dirty (festival for people have done or are interested in RTW travel) it was so shiny, looked brand new all coated in some sort of silicone, even the exhaust had been returned to its original shiny colour. Folk kept looking at it and me sideways, felt like a fraud ?muchos embarrassing ?
  17. Husqvarna with a step stool and a bike butler to catch it when I stop ?
  18. More like too late, jacked it in a couple of years ago. Now only available for life and death stuff and then only if I like them otherwise I’m happy to leave ‘em croaking at the side of the road ?
  19. Thats northern isn’t it? ?
  20. I’ve done my time listening to the worried well complaining about rashes, listening to endlessly detailed stories of peoples minor brushes with medical services and the unprompted showing of body parts. When I go somewhere new I always tell them I work in McDonald’s surprisingly no ones even slightly interested in talking to you about shite food ?
