Lilac?.. LILAC.. DONT TALK TO ME ABOUT THE FECKIN LILAC That room is still undergoing angry painting by eldest son, the very purple paint has been painted over with white but it’s still very much bright lilac so progress has halted whilst tantrums are had

Finally back home. Lots done. Kitchen finished (until kitchen fitters arrive in December ) so thats one off the list The first one to say missed a bit dies. Although now I look at the pic I realise I forgot to put the fire alarm back up, there’s always feckin something

I’m certain not a single one of the people in the building would think for a second of doing their own decorating and after this less than joyous foray into painting and decorating I can guarantee the boys won’t be requesting to do the job themselves ever again

Finished painting for the day, time to pack up n head home to prepare for more of the bastard same tomoz, can’t wait..

Unless you have some cheap ass chinese aircon read the instructions and you'll see thats exactly what it does. edit - scratch that, give the instructions to your wife

Nice bit in a newsletter (for the UK). Bike thefts are falling, something we can all raise a glass to, down 2.6% on last year in January-May. And the recovery rate is soaring, with nearly 6000 of just over 9200 bikes recovered (though not necessarily in pristine condition).
