  1. Not to mention the inevitable gravel trap training so could well be a days travel each way there so you might just need your tent
  2. Where are you based in relation to the posh Welsh git?
  3. So you're going to join our merry gang of misfits?
  4. Obviously just too posh pete
  5. Guess you're just too old and worried you'll get bummed by some dago midgets again
  6. I don't see the issue, whats wrong with a tarp strapped atop the bikes and a decent sleeping bag
  7. No idea but I will ask, along with anyone else who wants to come along for the adventure
  8. Well it is much of the same old shit but at least I now have the bike back so that is one plus from last year. Our year now consists of saving as much money as possible as the wife wants to move back down south to be closer to friends and family so she can get more help with the little one (who as it turns out is 15 months old already how has it gone so fast) I do plan on a Spain trip though if covid and funds allow so watch this space
  9. Well at least you returned safely from your dice with death and dismemberment. So what did you think of the new boots
  10. They were probably all washed away with the most recent flooding
  11. In my experience of riding with a fully loaded bike I've found that the bike is very much more stable if it is loaded correctly, best advice has already been given in regards to loading the bike heavy on bottom and lighter stuff up top over and above I'd just say get out there and get acquainted with it
  12. Ahh I taxed it in 2020 and sorned it August 2021 so thats why I'm abit surprised by the hike
  13. Is it me or has vehicle tax gone up again just taxed the bike and it is £96 for the year im sure last time I taxed it I only paid 75 or 80 odd quid
  14. Wow there are no words for how stupid this is, so because law enforcement are too shit at their jobs they want everyone to basically grass themselves up..... Hmm well thought through
  15. Welcome to purgatory
  16. That would be the common sense approach pete and we all know anyone who has an ounce of power in running is completely devoid of it. So long as they don't stop me from riding there won't be any issues
  17. So bike passed no problem just need to tighten the chain abit and lube it up. Was a very nice ride out i definitely forgot just how fast the bloody thing is
  18. Yeah was abit steep and I don't think its too bad round here though there are often blue light responses. As for the knee it seems to be fine and bends enough to comfortably ride and there's no ill effects when I get off either
