Yes a few friends have them running in their sheds and they work well...I just didn't want to punch a hole in the wall for the exaust ...maybe its just me but I was a little sketchy to leave the unit run by itself...its why I went with the electric heater...

Its a ceiling or wall mount heater...its got air deflector in the front wich push the air down with a somewhat powerful fan in the back...
