  4. Didn't want to tariff you on the path , it looks awfully slippery and muddy, some more mats might work, or maybe some fine gravel to raise the path up a little...

  15. Have many fawn memories from back then , I had a sled to myself from about the age of 16 all the way all the way to my mid 40 , by the end also before giving it up , we use to ride mid week on Wednesday after all of the trails were freshly groomed and it started to interfere with my work , I was still half drunk some time when I went to work by Thursday we use to come in at 3 or 4 am...in no way shape of form to work...maybe someday Ill tell you more stories of some of those adventures...lol.
  16. Machines were totally junk, most of them anyways , I remember him buying a Bombardier ski- doo after the Boa-ski , a tnt 440 wich was at the time the top sled from Bombardier...he could never get futher than a 1/4 of a mile from the house before the engine would explode...after 3 explosion one right after the other , the local dealer gave him his money back ...lol...
  17. Lol...hahahaha , im just rembering when my father hit that half buried tree stump and the machine broke in half...lol...everyone wore open face helmets, no broken bone but the impact was such that he broke his upper dentures in half in him mouth...lol,...took time in those days to get a denture made...so he glued it with crazy glue but wasn't glued straight....lol...he had to grind on one of the front theeth to make it straight...lol.
  18. Till to this day, there's and average of 60 fatalities during the winter around here , mostly from riders coming from the south , Nova Scotia, below the snowbelt...they go completely insane , heavy drinking and riding and most don't ride has offen and they are not accustomed to trails , they don't know half of the time where they are going...
  19. My father had two machines, a 440 ss boa-ski and a 440 snowjet sst...his favorite was the Boa-ski , the entire body and frame was made from fiber glass..it was light and fast for the time , he wone many drag racing weekends with it....he scraped the machine by hitting a tree stump , it literally broke in two piece...lol...he patched it up and sold it...lol. Im on the right...on the snowjet..we use to ride those things without helmets most of the time...lol. Think the pic was taken in 1973...
  20. I remember the days of the snowmobile hay days...there was such a thing has a hay days back then ( golden years ) for snowmobiles , from the time I was 5 years-old and up....hundreds of snowmobile manufacturers..with name none have heard before...lol...it was like a literal boom for the place during the winter, races every weekend, oval and drag racing...with exaust so loud it would make you're ears bleed...lol....that's when clubs were formed and trail systems...
  21. This is a stack of snowmobiles magazines from the late 60 all the way up to the early 80 wich was mostly collected by my dad....don't know why I still have those in my closet, maybe im thinking they might be worth something later down the road...lol
  22. I change of over the track in the process of buying it , think it came with 2.5 inches of padles..wich isn't any good for trail riding..I opted for 1.5 inches full block track...in perfect snow condition, the acceleration wasn't even close to any motorcycles ive owned during the years....insane !! I wonder at times why Im still alive , after loosing two close friends in accidents wich I witnessed....I gave up the sport...
  23. Me and the boys were talking about are old snowmobile years this pass weekend with the qwads , dam those things were fast , from corner to corner it would blast any super bike from 0 to 100mph..and if you fucked up , it was basically a death sentence, hitting trees at those speeds ...not a pretty sight...lol....the last sled I owned was a ski-doo summit 800...it was a 140hp machine...was checking this ..new sleds are over 200hp now since they started with the turbos.... crazy!!!!
