No idea......I expect @Tango would know!

Techno caused a lot more people to flounce than @Six30. He and I didn't see eye-to-eye and he gradually drifted away. He's still in touch with a few of them on Facebook. There used to be YorBandit and Dave (can't remember his forum name) who were pretty good mods, but they drifted away too. I'm still in touch with them on Facebook.

Ian is a good mod, but I think he's running out of steam now too.

Craig's a good lad, met him at a few rallies, but I didn't have him down as a mod. Dunno about Blender, I've never met him.

You've had it as well then Bob?

Yes, I had the catheter in for a couple of weeks, until the antibiotics had sorted out the UTI. They gave me a spare as well, to fit myself if needed!

My knob was tiny and cowering in fear.

Something funny I have just remembered. The surgeon squirted gel anaesthetic down the old pipe first. Then whilst he is waiting for the nurses to hand him the instrument of torture he turns to me and casually says, "Don't panic, I'm just squeezing your penis to stop the gel coming back out whilst we wait for it to work." He had to tell me because I had made it quite clear I wasn't going to watch him or his little tv. What a funny job to have eh. Then he said, my CT scan showed my kidneys were now clear of stone fragments although he saw a few small sharp bits wedged between the stent and the uretha. " You might feel them as we pull the stent out!"

I spent the early hours of New Year's day 2020 in A&E waiting to have a catheter inserted after a few beers and my prostate decided that I didn't need to pee anymore! The pain was excruciating, so I completely sympathise with you, mate.

Brilliant Bob! What are prices like there?

They vary quite a lot, Pete. More expensive nearer the coast or Montpellier, but not so bad away from those areas. You can still get a wreck to do up for peanuts, but I'd rather enjoy my retirement doing other stuff. 🏍🍻😂😂😂

I thought all Capris had rear end damage because they always spin round and go arse first when it goes tits up.

I had a mark 1 1600 GT, which used to like stepping the rear out in the wet. A seriously scary car.

This is the one I lusted after when I was young , RS3100

One of the lads I worked with when I was an apprentice had one of these. The thing is, he didn't realise that's what it was. Just assumed it was a standard 3 litre. It was only when he wrote it off ( met a lamppost with it) and gave it to a relative to fix up, that his relative told him that it was an RS3100!

Yeh......different people there now! And a very different atmosphere it has to be said.

I like to go on a forum and have a laugh sort of thing......so it's not for me any more I'm afraid.

And yeh.....it ain't easy doing what you, me, and @MooN have done by moving abroad. But over time it does get easier. The language is the key to open the door though.

Yes, but to be fair Stu has had some health issues over the past year, so I'm guessing that's had an effect to an extent. It's a fine line between over-moderating and under-moderating a group and no matter what you do you'll always piss someone off somewhere along the line.

Yes, I'm working on the language thing, but it's all the admin stuff that's doing my head in. Along with selling our house in the UK. But I'm sure it'll all come together eventually.

@Tango you  stepped down, did you see what was coming?

You and a guy from Telford🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺 moderated fine..........but 2 of them that they have (before I got the push) now are shit.....

By the way, your not 008 are you?

I stepped down really because I lost my biking mojo,  Clive......but the writing was on the wall I think.

008? No, I see myself more as an Austin Powers! 😉😂😂😂

Clive's talking about the changes there in the last year or so Bob......in your day you and Ian together did a great job!

There was a different bunch of people there then (where did they all go?).........and generally it was a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.

Yes, I guessed that was what Clive was saying😉

Yeah, I don't know what happened there, Pete, but it lost the vibe. I still go on there from time to time, but don't really feel motivated to contribute much. Mind you, we've got so much still to sort out here I'm finding it hard to concentrate on much else at the moment.

    Applications for the mod gig!!!

He did not do a very good job of vetting them, look at the toss pots who ended up as mods.

But on the upside it makes him look better....... marginally.😂

    I resemble that remark! 😉😂😂😂

I was happy with the Tiger, was nice to ride, I found it quite comfy, it seemed to fit my frame, but jeez it was very top heavy with a tank full of fuel, had a couple of oh shit it's going over moments, but it never did...

I had a Trophy 900. That was top heavy too. Alright until you needed to manoeuvre in a gravel carpark or on a hill/camber!

My favourite Oh Shit moment on that was just after I got it. We went to the BMF rally in Peterborough and it was pissing it down and it was one of the years when they had you parking on the grass. I stopped and went to put the bike on the sidestand but it went straight into the ground. So I was trying to haul the bike back upright, on wet grass, otherwise it would have been bike dominoes! I managed it, but I still don't know how. Even the main stand sank into the grass! First think I bought at the show was a sidestand puck! 😂😂

  12. I got the Pfizer one, Pete. My missus had the J & J one.

Yes, mate, people quote stuff from right nut-jobs and then expect you to accept it as gospel! I'm a bit annoyed because my sister split from her husband and moved in with our mum. My sister has long believed all this conspiracy claptrap, but she's now influencing mum. My sister's daughter has tried to reason with her mum, but gets nowhere with it and just falls out with her. God help if my mum gets Covid-19 and gets really ill with it!

Has there ever been a time when we've had so many fucking stupid people in the world?

My mum and the eldest of my sisters keep going on about The Great Reset. Neither of them will have the vaccine. I've given up arguing with them now.

Anyway, I had my second jab on Sunday and the Internet is working much better now! 😂😂😂

UK! And not really......I wanted Pfizer!

Technically here all over 55's are supposed have the AstraZeneca jab, but if you book it at one of the bigger vaccination centres they tend to have the Pfizer one, so that the AstraZeneca ones are freed up for doctor surgeries and pharmacies who don't have the storage facilities for the Pfizer. I booked at a vaccination centre, so I got the Pfizer. My OH registered for any leftover shots and got a call today to go to a pharmacy about 30kms away for the J&J vaccination. So she's all done now.

Nice 👍 Do the french do that thing thats popular in Spain where the BBQ is in a covered area?

Some have the bbq in a covered area, but most we've seen are just in the corner of the garden or on the patio. And some have a complete kitchen in their garden! 😂😂

Good luck with that, what’s the temp there?

It's about 20C here at the moment, with a bit of cloud cover. But it doesn't look too threatening at the moment! 😂😂
