After having it properly broken in..lol....50 km from the showroom floor on the return ride home...some twat on a sport bike pulled up next to me with a 600 cc something bike...I had to show him what the bike was capable of doing...I pined the throttle and brought up the speed to 215 kph...lol....
-
And santa pod from mine its 74 miles.... so what does that tell us? 1. He can't ride 120 miles in a day because he's scared the bike will breakdown. 2. He can't go to the drag strip incase his belt snaps because he is a gammon with the clutch. 3. He is too scared of being shown up. So what have we learnt here well...one thing that Marcel can talk the talk but can't walk the walk.

Suppose I'll start from page one. It's and 04 adventure S , at the time of purchase , it 2 year production bike made I think..maybe they were sold overseas in your side of the pond has and 03 ...not sure...but at the time , here in Canada, there was only 1 authorized dealer..in Montreal...1000 km away.
-
I had a real hard time putting it up for sale at the time...but after the 1290 purchase..I found it just to ridiculous of owning 3 bikes and to maintenance them all...what I should have done is to never buy that 1290...useless bike for my needs...
-
you seen this shit @busabeast he won’t take it to the drag strip … cause it’s 60 miles away … pathetic

Bike Of The Month - July - Picture Submission Thread
Catteeclan replied to Pedro's topic in GENERAL CHAT
Make the numbers up. Had to nip to Colchester first thing this morn but could see anything on the way to snap a pic. Was almost back home so ended with this. -
So sell it to someone who won't ride it, sounds like a plan.
-
Could you just time it with the video yourself...? With a clear view of the odo and tac meter ? Im not taking that thing to and actual drag strip you twat....got better things to do...drag strip is over 60 miles away...I'd have to trailer the thing..what if I snap the drive belt or something...how do you expect me to ride back...
-
Just thought I'd let you know what kinda of repairs I've done to the thing over the years to keep it in pristine mint condition... Out of the 20 some years of ownership, I did sell it locally to a fellow , he road it for one summer, and after having it taken to motorcycle repair shop for a simple oil change and they couldn't figure out how to do it..most likely it was to labour intensive for them to mess with , and having the fuel pump fail..he gave up on it...luckily the bike wasn't trashed and I required it again...
-
You need it timed you fucking twat , how many more times .
- Today

Im just saying with your lack of experience running the busa..out of 3 pulls...if you manage to fuck up the launch...wich you certainly would ....I have certainly a good chance of beating in one of the 3 pulls....end of story...lol....I can definitely beat a 13 second run... My 7000lbs truck will run 13 seconds ffs...lol.
-
Id have to roll off at half distance to pull a 13s pass
-
so what you're saying is you need me to slow down for you to win or indeed keep up? so there w e have it Marcel has just admitted he'd have zero chance of winning everyone unless i slowed down
-
Im going shopping for a phone mount this morning...to settle this finally..
-
Ah !! Ah!!! There we have the proof..... Would you agree I'd have a chance if you pulled a 13 second run..?
-
My slowest was 12.7s but that was when it lit up on the line and went sideways before I caught it and set it straight
-
If you visit the site etslips.co.uk and put my registration number in the search on 9MUY you will see that I screenshot the whole thing and not as you suggest just my best ones, they were all the runs I did that day. TWAT
-
I think they will probably take it in turns
-
Im not arguing that a regular busa will definitely blast my barge out of the water..with a compatant rider riding it.. Im just saying that Rich would most likely flip the thing if we pull off the line together in his excitement to beat me...given the way I watch his videos those starts were horrible..im just saying at this moment and time..will his experience... And Im sure not all his runs were 10 seconds runs...he only posted the best ones...
-
If you look very carefully and get the slide rule out you can see I am doing over 170mph on one straight and am regularly cornering at up to 140mph, clearly a very fast road.
-
Those cyclists were certainly getting a shift on
- Yesterday
-
@Marcel could do that in 5 seconds while getting @Six30 pregnant.

Now i do have to but in, sorry lads. When i were a Lad: i used to take my mates bikes out ( Local Suzuki Dealer ) for a couple of hundred miles before the local dicks heads took them out for a test ride. The Early Busa could do 0-100mph and back to a stop in 10sec..can your bike!!!? If not you will not get close to the Busa.. Some times i love being old: Cos I know stuff. Also Ren will know the truth...
