All joking aside I do like the look of the Leoncino 500 Trail that Beneli do, little 360 degree crank 500 twin in a trail frame. Potential to be a fun bit of kit for local stuff where I live. Seen really nice low mileage ones for around £2K in the UK. Lot of fun for that sort of money.

He was extremely happy to ride the bike in his native land , coming out of a Morrison super store for some zero fat plain yogurt...their was many people in the parklot coming in and out...he lit up a cigar and started his bike making sure everyone was looking at him wyll burping the throttle ( the dreaded throttle turret syndrome) has he was pulling out , with a mixture of turret his fingers slip from the clutch , in a panic he whiskyed the throttle, trying to get the bike under control he locked up the front wheel..and planted it on the left side..still holding the cigar in his mouth , hoping no one seen , he lifted the bike and lost balance of it..and it landed on the right side...

OK so you won't tell are many viewers so I will. Ill have to take you back in time.... , it was soon after Buck received his bike for the good old US of A in a shipping container....looking like a cheap copy from Marlon Brando's movie " the wild one" ...the whole leather outfit and all...
-
Nope, I will stick with my Scottish motorcycle.

Skippy changed their profile photo

Well what can I say but “GET IN!” You’ll all be riding Chinese by the end of the year
-
OK some might not know but Buckster is affected with a disease...its called throttle turret...its a common illness among Harley owners...
-
And not a great time of the year to be selling a 2 wheeler.....trade in sounds good.
-
Thinking about it I may have to sell Shadows bike at some point, mind you if I do I might just trade it in against something bigger, but I don't have to deal with that until October when her insurance runs out.
-
I had a few "I offer you (stupid low offers) " but most were, or seemed to be genuine buyers, hope I get the same response with the vehicle that I put on Marketplace next....I too hate dealing with people when selling, even though I give them a honest appraisal of what i am selling I still feel a bit guilty.
-
I hate selling vehicles because of the messers. I don't sell much at all to be honest I tend to run my cars until they die. Last two cars I got rid of, one went to auction, the other my van that eat it's gearbox went to a mechanic mate who fixed it for his wife's cleaning business. Backalong I sold a good Honda CRV to a chancer who tried to extort money from me because of so called problems with the car that I supposedly didn't declare. Absolute bollocks, he even tried to threaten me. I just told him where to go but it's hassle you don't need. Also I sold my Chinky 125 to another goon who brought it back because it wasn't running right, because he didn't know how to turn the choke off, I reached under and did just that and it ran perfectly. Absolute bell end. I just can't be arsed with dealing with them anymore. I think it's my age I just can't be aresed with the F'wits anymore. Luckily my spotless 24 year old BMW 3 series has still only done 94,000 and is running and driving exactly as it should. If I get rid of it, prolly take it to the auction, isn't worth anything anyway.

Maybe I should have played him along for a while, and asked him for his bank details............................I am new to this scamming malarkey.
-
In other news.............I have fixed the 3rd brake light, without busting it. it just clips in, and it is not a LED, it had 1 bulb with a reflector panel.
-
I hope you got the money before you blocked him like any proper scammer would.
-
I suppose, even in the condition it is in i could have tried for a bit more, and then have it stood on my drive for weeks, or longer, before if sold, and get numerous "I will offer you messages. I had one guy enquire about buying it, just has the guy who eventually bought it turned up here. I got back to this other guy and told him... Sorry it has sold.....he messages back saying "Sold so quick!, iam reporting you to Facebook, you must be a scammer"....I told him to get on with it then....Deleted and Blocked.

Yeh I got £700 for it, in good mechanical condition it is probably worth £1200+ , but it ain't in good condition, it stops starts (new discs & pads last summer) as it should, but it requires 2 of the problems that it has needing sorting out for the next MOT.... the rear axle and exhaust.
-
I think @Saul did an excellent job of bike of the month.
-
Yeah as long as you got what you wanted with minimum hassle it strikes me as a win Mate
-
Did you get a reasonable price for it though
-
That was a whirlwind sale for me! Put the Dacia on Marketplace at 8am, it was sold and collected at 9am, well it was for sale cheap, but it will need work in the near future, rear axle badly corroded/rusted, clutch pedal right at the top ( needs a new clutch) and exhaust was flagged up at the last MOT, very rusty in places. It has been a good car in the 10 years of my ownership, it only caused problems on the last 2 MOT,s. I expect to see it on Marketplace for sale at around £1200 to £1500 soon

Don't know why your making such a big deal out of this ...we've all dropped are bikes ..no one is going to laugh...just spill the beans or I will...

Finally tracked down the vacuum leak on the turbo in the car, the vacuum pipes were like a plate of spaghetti, I have now rerouted them all so I can more easily work on them in the future, what the hell Mercedes were thinking when they built it is anyones guess. Anyway, I replaced a couple of hoses as they were old but nothing was leaking, turns out it was the MAP sensor on the manifold, I am guessing the membrane is perforated in the sensing module as the fault seemed to be more likely to happen on wet days, I had previously thought it might be electrical but I checked, cleaned and waterproofed every possible connection. Seems it was being affected by barometric pressure. It must have been feathering the waste gate actuator as well as now it has a lot more boost and I can hear the turbo spool up sooner. Luckily I had a used MAP sensor in my spares drawer.
