That stone after careful analysis...was covered in tar..probably got stuck in there wyll riding through road work..and not from my 3 km dirt road ride...

Took the Dacia back to the garage for the repairs to the MOT failure,s, it will (in my opinion) be a expensive day or 2. Hope me or my wife don't shuffle off, had to raid the burial fund to pay for the repairs...

Is it easy to damage a belt by riding on gravel and getting loose stones or sand flying around?

Surely the whole point of BOTM is to get out to somewhere scenic on your bike and look. for a good photo opportunity. To have a bit of fun and share the experience. I think you missing the point of the exercise.
