With everything being out sources today...who knows who actually makes the fork legs...could be the republic of Congo and bushings and seals could be from Japan...lol.
-
No idea who makes them.... have a guess
-
Well the replacement parts said made in Japan...lol....so I have no idea who makes them...
- Today
-
I think those are the same forks they fit to the Benda.
-
Crap Chinesium material
-
Are you sure? Could be a big old crack in that cast aluminium frame.
-
After checking things out yesterday...wyll holding the front brake and rocking the bike back and forth...something not right...and no its not the frame or the stearing head...lol...but something is definitely loose...its coming from the forks...bushings are shot....first time ive had a bike fork bushings go bad on a 2 years-old machine....I think the fork on these are a little on the weak side...

2023 108 challenger vs 2025 117 street glide
Catteeclan replied to Marcel's topic in MOTORCYCLE CHAT
The second bush in on the lower end of the inner tube. You'd manage it. -
The video proves everything, you've been owned.
-
Yes, best to get it done by a competent mechanic.
- Yesterday
-
I've answered the question numbskull...lol.
-
Doesn't stop you from providing footage of you're prowess though does it
-
-
Albert called me this morning with his bad prostate..lol...he said he will definitely not be going...standing in the sun all day drinking water...he's still pissing in agony..lol.
-
The only video I could find for a challenger...was a big bear conversion kit...and it said 150ml ...ive got no spring compression tool or seal driver..I could probably gerry ring something...the bushing behind the seal just slides in...but I've got other bushing..so 2 bushings per leg...not sure about the second one...lol.
-
So we not going to get to see you're prowess on the strip then.... Standard
-
They dont take that much, maybe 80ml or so?
-
And at 200 bucks a pop for one fork leg...id rather not attempt it...was only lucky to find two kits in a dealer in Quebec city...everything is all back ordered till late September...so if I mess it up...my season is pretty well over...
-
Really not equipped at the moment to attempt such a job...id need a bench ( lift) first of all...and that dinky motocycle jack won't cut it.......and I couldn't find anything online has how much fluid to add to the forks ....and also thinking I might need special puller to remove the bushings and to install the new ones...?....and has of yet...I can't find a shop manual anywheres..
-
That’s a bit upmarket for the scheme.

you do look rather small in your avvy
