Well there goes the neighbourhood.
- Today

Off down to Lanner Kawasaki (Cornwall Kawasaki Centre) in a minute, with my demented mate Steve. Has his eye on a Guzzi V85TT down there. Pictures later I expect.
-
Did a service on the rear on a 2006 RT last week. It was in fair condition for 20 year old but had plenty of corrosion on the engine. 20,000 miles on the clock, he paid £3000 for it although it does have the good old brake warning flashing but we'll be bypassing that later.

Congratulations @Nute

You cunt Pedro....you switch your vote....and all this time I thought we were friends...lol.
-
My bike and my trailer.
-
Between who??
-
Oh my lord the suspence is killing me....a two way fight...
-
I rode one a while ago, I loved it, felt very aggressive and intense regardless of not being too powerful. Overall, too intense, too thirsty, expensive for what it was on paper, but it did feel special.
-
The K1600s are very nice to ride, but the engine is a little delicate regarding poor quality fuel. They do sound great.
-
Anything Italian looks beautiful, but it’s going to be in the shop a lot.
-
I saw some in the beemer dealer when I picked up my new bike. They look great and are certainly big and imposing…and expensive. I think if I talked myself into getting an enormous bike I’d be on a triumph rocket. Need a bigger garage though
-
Yes I've seen this one in person , really nice...but never sat on one...
-
Totally forgot the Kawasaki 1400....have to check it out again...the 1300 is a beautiful bike...for myself think the leg room would be a deal breaker for me...
-
If I was purely touring then probably the big beemer out of those.
-
BMW RT would be my choice, 1200, 1250 or 1300. Although I am more comfortable on a GS Adventure on anything not a motorway. Kawasaki 1400 GTR, probably second choice. I do have a soft spot for a Harley Low Rider ST, and would have one as a third or fourth bike. I would need a very big driveway to be able to turn it around
-
So you are saying they are badly made. okay.
- Last week

You need to get some new material....bottom pic is a air cooled engine...a few thunderstroke engine ...and I mean a few..like 3....this bolt wasn't properly torque on the assembly like... Can we get back on subject now please... Let's imagine we or any of us ...is shopping right now for a long distance touring machine...what would it be... Goldwing Bmw 1600 Harley road or street glide Indian pursuit Did I miss any ? Can we at least have a serious motorcycle discussion without it turn into a skit from SNL...lol. And the budget is 35,000 American.
-
Looks like Buckster is running out of new material..lol...Pedro this bike was fitted with a sidecar and struck a Ford Festiva head on...the pic is from New-zelan I think...the Harley boys like to pull this old pictures ...lol. very popular with Harley trolls on many sites...lol.
-
Bike ran over some banding and the headstock snapped.
-
That does look pretty insane.

Service like changing the oil and stuff..? ..or service like ripping apart the engine at every 60 thousand milles ? This Indian ran for over 300 thousand miles with regular oil changes and a magneto had to be replaced.... Here I'll make it even easier for you...Ian...lol. Indian makes a better motorcycle than ( Harle...) the only thing missing is the last letter....my God if you can't figure this one out..lol. I'm telling you...you will feel better afterwards, the thruth will set you free my friend...lol.
