Yes you definitely need super heavy duty brakes on that thing..a specially when you got that trailer attached to the rear...you might want to check this company out..scrotum brakes by Ianwood...

No but Galfer are highly rated, I suspect the Moto Master are as good though. A lot of racers use Moto Master.
