Marcel Posted Monday at 16:10 Share Posted Monday at 16:10 Another beautiful day today , deceided to take the KTM on a loop...after 90 km out , stopped for breack and the thing wouldn't turn over...luckily I pulled off on a long hill ...managed to bump start it and made it home...haven't checked it yet...think it could be my voltage regulator...stopped at friend..check it with a voltage meter...12.3 volts...no change when I rev it pass 5000 rpm.

Marcel Posted Thursday at 16:31 Author Share Posted Thursday at 16:31 To cold at the moment for a proper test run...but I'll check the voltage again after its been running and properly ran in for some km....incase there could be something wrong with the stator ... Marcel
Buck recent incoherent rant got me thinking this morning...I have no idea when exactly the voltage regulator failed but I was well into the ride and it didn't have enough juice to crank it over after 120 km...managed to bump start it and made it home running on what was left in the battery...and it wasn't even sputtering or missing a beat when I got home...if I would have been on the 1290...a boat without a padle comes to mind...that thing wasn't a bike anymore...they ruined it with technology...it was a computer on wheels...
