I was speaking with a young lass the other day, about chain maintenance. I noted she just lubed her chain after a ride without cleaning it first. She said, "oh I never clean the chain, just lube it". Now stop giggling Pete, I'm trying to add some content here.....?? I have always cleaned my chain before applying fresh lube, for many reasons that seem logical to me. How about you?

I hope we get some snow here this year. I grew up with snow and enjoy it....for about a week or so, which is good as that is about how long it lasts on the Sunshine Coast ??

Found a beach full of colourful boats on my sunny Saturday outing. ?

I got stuck in an editing vortex today. ? My latest video has a lot of editing and many clips and I can lose track of time. It is coming along though.... ?? I've been watching a documentary on the making of Star Wars and about George Lucas, learning through osmosis....? The weather looks nice tomorrow so I will get out for a short ride, still solo. Our new tools should be here early next week so we can get my partners bike rolling again. ?

My craziest Christmas was when I first moved to the west coast, from Ontario, Canada to British Columbia. I became a rock climber and was spending my time with some interesting folk. ? For Christmas we piled into a friend's VW Van and drove up to Whistler Ski Resort in the mountains. We drove down a back road as far as the purple bus would take us and then parked it in the snow and hiked in. We had very little food, a few boxes of wine and some stuff I think you smoke. ?. We had so many toys, crazy carpets (look it up), ice axes, climbing gear, snowboards, etc.... We set up camp and for the next few days we partied and played in the snow. Good Times!! ? ohh.....then there was that Christmas with the Australians and the abandoned house that almost burnt down......and the TV that blew up......that was also a good one!

Drones are fun.....I wish we had some open space like that here to play in. Once we make it above the trees you can't see what is below on the trail anymore.... ?

I totally agree, nice light dry snow......very nice compared to the soggy snow we get around here most of the time. ?

The sun came out today so I decided to work on Bagheera, clean him up and tighten up his cylinder head cover to see if I could stop the small oil leak. ? Then I baked a pumpkin loaf for an afternoon snack! Yummmy ?

Love the looks of that bike, very adventury.... ? BUT WAIT, you have a friend with a Ford Escort rally stage car........I want friends like that. That car is gorgeous......WOW, not my colour, but nice car. ? I'll never understand why rally cars are not more popular in Canada, we have the terrain.....all a bunch of 4x4 rock crawling freaks here. Great, let's spend the day going .5km down the river bed over rocks the size of small cars.....?
