  1. We are going out whenever there is a break in the weather. Tomorrow is looking good for us so that will be the third day in a row since we started. My idea is little and often so that it will become second nature, initially I thought once or twice a week but that won't work with Chloe as it gives her too much time to worry about stuff. I am still getting used to what works with her, but we have six months to play with and summer coming, so no pressure or rush for her.
  2. Yet she still managed to do a good job, clever woman.
  3. It was 45 minutes in total. We did stop to talk but I do take your point. I will pack a snack and drink for her next time so we can sit away from the bike and talk about events. She has ADHD the ADD form so does struggle with concentration at times but she will get there just takes more time and patience.
  4. She has , but the boy has his ped so the precedent has been set. And that daft fuck won't listen to anything I say and he has survived so far.
  5. Out with the Dear Maid for lesson two today. Nothing exciting just a few loops of the rugby club car park. She did reasonably well but dropped it a couple of times which knocked her confidence a little but it is bound to happen. Kept forgetting to de clutch as she came to a halt and was dragged over. Few tears but she is fine now, the bike was owned by a newbie before her so nothing scratched that wasn’t already. Still working on her clutch control but it’s coming. I was hoping to get her doing figure of eights today but that can wait. There is no rush. I am limiting the lesson to 45 minutes so that she doesn’t get too stressed. All about confidence with her. Shame she didn’t grow up with a shitbox old dirt bike to learn in a field but that sort of thing is rare nowadays.
  6. Don't be ashamed mate, the Merican bike crowd wear their shirts loud and proud.
  7. See I am a bit crossed up on the load pipes thing. I do like a deep roar from a single or twin but triples and 4 pots sound awful to me if they are loud. Also not a fan of having a loud bike myself, just gets on my nerves after time. But each to their own. One of my mates has a 1974 Norton Commando on Megas and that sounds awesome but I wouldn't want to live with it.
  8. It's commonly used as a term for a fat greedy fucker mate, I am sure that is the context here. Think it comes from when a carcass ends up in the water fills with gas and floats.
  9. Sounds good, just as well you ain't got many neighbours.
  10. Reason one is MERICA! But I think it was more like BSB back in the day and still currently to some extent, supposedly racing what you can buy in the showroom. Bit like a R9T racing series or similar, if such a thing even exists. You can tell I don't follow racing anymore
  11. You keep your bike spotless but I can't hear anything yet
  12. Are you sure you know what a bloater is? I could describe Pete many ways but bloater isn't one of them.
  13. I may have had one or two of those back in the day and I do have some HOC merch
  14. I’m sure Shad can supply something
  15. She is at that age when she has a resting bitch face most of the time. She genuinely is good company and sunny enough
  16. Enchiladas actually but similar shape
  17. Twas a good day mate, sometimes Dad just has to pay. . Not moaning I am happy to do it really.
  18. Didn't your mates on there jump in to defend you?
  19. Wow you go banned as a sex pest,
  20. Sorry mate, I sometimes forget that you are the quality Welshman on here.
  21. Wouldn't surprise me, I know where the keys are at all times. And if I'm honest I was riding my XS750 back in the day before I passed my test, until my Grandad caught me and bubbled me to my Dad. I am conscious of the hypocrisy
  22. Really Fred I was just about to eat my tea
