Good stuff, but you’ll miss the straight six, some things are more than just numbers, and any E30 should be straight 4 or 6.

I thought you would look more french than that

I don’t think I have a cockney accent

right, WOT in a 125hp bike digging into sand is exactly the thing I'm not very comfortable with

Great stuff, Bob. Bike looks great on those trails, sure enough it'll feel like a pig when going through the kind of mud you're used to taking lighter bikes on proper knobbies on.
I have great admiration for guys who can use a big bike to do stuff like the trial's riding type stuff shown above, that shows real skill. I loose all confidence when on the GS and the nice hard dirt turns to sandy trails. Soft ground just makes me wimp out, I'd like to say it comes from not wanting to damage the bike but in fact it comes from not knowing what to do with it on soft terrain, may take a class one of these days when stuff opens up again.

That is hardcore stuff Rick! Does anybody ever get injured riding in conditions like that?
Of course not Pete, nobody ever gets injured doing stuff in snow
-
Good stuff, Moon.
Bet those are great roads if you find with little traffic, but they're getting a little too strict with the speed limits now, aren't they?
-
In the future, I'll just send my bike to get groceries by itself

mid to end of next week I'm taking a ride through inner Portugal, finishing with a dip in the ocean. Not to spit in your porridge, just putting things into context.
In average, we're average

Harley does the bikes they do because they want to, not because they can't do faster lighter bikes. They are a major player.
BMW has got the self riding bike that goes around tracks by itself, and Honda has the same thing. But Harley somehow is the first to have something to be put in real use in a way that is probably more appreciated by their customers, which is quite smart.
To boot it, Harley has come up with a simpler way to adapt it to any one of their bikes without major electronics to steering and stuff like that, way clever.
Of course, if it does fall down nobody will be able to pick the top heavy beast ...

This is great stuff, if it makes a bike balance while going slow it will eventually be able to help it handle better when going fast.

I like it, and love the horn at the end.

Big skies, that's what makes or breaks a landscape for me.
Obviously old people homes are going to be the last things open to visits, Pete, see if you can hold on for a couple more months

True. However in my head I’m still only 25 years old whereas when I wake up every morning I realise that I’m not. Unfortunately.
You just have to ride it in the evenings, simples!

I didn´t have green hair, but you get the idea:

Why? You got your jacket covered in shit?
Shit?
It had mud splattered all over the back of it from riding the XR a couple of weeks ago. That won't do for riding the GS to the Algarve later this month.

If you could imagine a day where being bald doesnt matter thats life over 60 if you can make it Pedro!
I actually look better now, bald, than I did before. I had longish hair when it started to fall, so I ended up looking like a mix of a fat Einstein and Krusty the clown.

Next time I want to fit some 70/30 or 50/50 I might go for MotoZ, these look to be a little bit less roady than my TKC70, being Dunlops they will probably smooth and safe on road

Yes, they'd be getting to Cape Town next week

I'm not bothered to assume I am the casual ...

I never ride with anyone else, and don't think I'm that above average to judge anyway.
There have been a few encounters with motorcycle club patch wearing dudes, but that has been after lunch and probably alcohol induced ... not much of an excuse for them

Im over 60, how bad can life get ater that?
That's true, what is really the point of investing in armor after 60? All that money for a couple more years? Shit, the bruise alone of a stopped bullet is likely to make you want to go
