It could well be Bruce......I know I'll lose a lot on the open road, but I'm going to have to make compromises somewhere.

Don't feel normal to me! Thing is I love the Strom.......but my old knees aren't getting any better. I suppose I got to expect it.......in just over 3 years time I hit 70 FFS! And with the places I get to now it usually involves some low speed manoeuvring around.......and I can feel the weight more than I ever did. So I've got to think sensibly here!

That was sprung on me all of a sudden.....I knew a new version (4.5) was going to be released, but there was no prior warning so I could prepare.

Very strange weather here too......the birds have migrated a month early. And it seems to be getting darker earlier in the evenings than normal.

Couple of points on the new version.......if you're using on Mobile there's now a bottom bar with quick links. And for desktop, if a thread becomes popular with a lot of posts then a side bar pops up on the right giving stats and a summary: Example HERE!

I'll probably buy a custom one and then make custom edits Bruce. The thing is, when the software radically changes then all previous designs go out the window. If I buy a commercial one they update them incrementally so you're never caught out. If I continue doing my own I'm going to be redoing the styling every 6 months or so. I just don't have the time.

One thing I've found which is interesting. There's an option to create a specific mobile app.......which I've done. It's now waiting to be accepted by Google Play and the App Store!

Unfortunately the theme I configured for the previous one is no longer compatible......so it means I've got to design a new one! What's new in this version? No idea....I'll let you know when I find out myself! If things don't seem to be lining up right for you.......then navigate away from the site, empty your browser cache, then come back!

He's got a holiday place on the Costa del Sol.......so his missus flies there and him and Buddy come on the bike. He spends about a week touring, then a few days with the wife.......and then rides back, while she flies back. I could never swing that one with my missus.

You've got to be a seriously desperate individual to love a Strom Fred! I've never had an emotional attachment to any of the 63 bikes I've had......they're just something to ride at the time. The wife says I'm the same with women actually.
