He's got a holiday place on the Costa del Sol.......so his missus flies there and him and Buddy come on the bike. He spends about a week touring, then a few days with the wife.......and then rides back, while she flies back. I could never swing that one with my missus.

You've got to be a seriously desperate individual to love a Strom Fred! I've never had an emotional attachment to any of the 63 bikes I've had......they're just something to ride at the time. The wife says I'm the same with women actually.

It's not old age that's done this.......I've known him for 18 years now, and I think we've spoken to each other nearly every day on the Net during that time. And he's always been completely unstable!

Nearly a year ago I met a FB friend here when he was on tour with his R1250GS and Buddy the dog in a cage on the back. He's over here again at the end of the month (with Buddy) and he wants to go Dark Motorcycling. Oh god......what have I started?

Just about to leave for some Rugged Individualism! No Dark Motorcycling today as such......though there will be abandoned buildings that look like they've been bombed showing up along the way. Sometimes I think that most of the interior of Spain has been abandoned......I'm sure it's nothing to do with me coming here in 2005 though. Just coincidence!

Wife wanted to go to the garden centre in Caniles........so we went on a bit further to revisit the abandoned railway station and bridge in Baul. Hell of a difference in the picture quality with this camera compared to the ones in my ride report a few months ago.
